I know there are people that struggle to give up smoking even after starting to vape, so I always feel like such a jerk when I go on about how easy it was for me to switch.

But really.....it WAS! I don't miss it - I don't miss the cost, I don't miss the smell, I don't miss having to go out in the cold/rain/etc. I really enjoy the flavors that I get to try when vaping.

There are times that I think I miss it - mostly when I've been drinking with friends who smoke. On the one occasion that I asked a friend for a drag, though, it just confirmed that I don't miss it.

So excited that I've made the switch. I hadn't been smoking as long as many others, but I honestly didn't think I'd be able to switch after 16 years.

I only miss it when I smell second hand smoke. That's starting to fade as well now though. Each time I smell a cigarette, it's starting to smell more and more of what they now taste like to me. I'm one of the lucky ones who tried a cigarette after vaping for over a week and it tasted like burning garbage to me. For a while though, the smell of second hand smoke was appealing. It seems that since I've been home for 4 days for Thanksgiving and not in the city to smell someone else's cigarettes, that finally my sense of smell is starting to readjust itself. The smell of cigarette smoke is starting to match that taste that I remember now.

Even if they could come moderately CLOSE to the flavor or clean feeling I get when I pull a fat rip out of a mod and fog up my whole bedroom, I would STILL never go back to being a tobacco user- EVER. I smoked for almost 20yrs at 1 1/2 to 2 packs a day, and when I quit smoking I was using 1-2 cans of chew a day- I finally quit both 2yrs ago and would never go back. If E-Cigs get banned or over-regulated, I'll just buy them on the "Grey Market" and keep using them anyhow- "Smoking is Dead, Vaping is the Future and the Future is NOW"

at first i used to vape in the cig hut at work but now i cant stand it, the nasty smell of the cigs really gets to me so i vape my grape juice at my desk instead, no one at work has an issue with it as long as i don't vape maple syrup and waffles as the smell fills the office and my co-workers get hungry and buy food from the vending machines!

As a pack a day smoker for 10 years I was surprised how quick I stopped caring about cigs. It takes some experimenting but once you get a good solid vape out of whatever set up you have you wont look back. Its always is disheartening when people try those cig-a-like vapes and say vaping is not for me. It takes a good setup for someone who is used to cigs to be satisfied with a vaping imho.

I still miss smoking 'in my head' at times. I don't miss the mess, smell, burns, freezing outside my own house to smoke and so on.

Being able to vape while watching TV with my lovely wife is a real plus! Having good gear that works for you helps a lot~! As someone new to vaping, I just went through all the baby steps, cig-a-likes, eGos, then the good stuff, I love my ProVari with a carto/tank setup SnP22.
