i also miss the simplicity of cigs... grab your pack and lighter and go. now i have to make sure i have a charged batt, extra atty in case this one messes up and i have to make sure it matches the tank (protank, iclear, or joyetch), did i top off this morning with juice?, etc....
but i would rather inject acid in my eyeballs than go back to smoking analogs.

I've always been a person that likes routine so none of that really bothers me. But I could see how would some people.

I smoked for 46 years and was up to 1 1/2 PAD when I quit almost 6 months ago. I don't miss a damn thing about it and even if they were $1 a pack, I would never go back! Since the minute I've started vaping I've had 2 puffs of a stinky and it just disgusted me!!

What the hell was I/we thinking?????

Surprisingly no. I never thought I would say that. It doesn't bother me to be around someone smoking. I don't like the smell but it does not give me the urge to smoke one. I'm content with different flavors, playing with mods and dealing with the occasional gurgle or leaking juice.

I've said it before here and I apologize if it offends anyone but, I don't understand how someone could go back to smoking after vaping some decent juice out of a decent tank.

As someone who only smoked for about 2 years, it wasn't as difficult for me to quit as I'm sure it was for others. My biggest challenge when switching to vaping, and the reason it took me a year to completely give up analogs is that the reason I started smoking was due to the environment I spent my time in and the people I associated with. Having spent years in college in a city environment where everyone smokes, it became less about injecting nicotine and more about fitting in and it becoming a social thing. When I discovered vaping, I always felt "uncool" when everyone went to smoke and I brought along my PV. Luckily I just hit a time in my life when I didn't care what anyone thought of me. I was broke and realized smoking was a huge part of that. So I just stopped and kept on vaping. Now I vape at parties, in bars...everywhere. My biggest fear was being mocked by smokers as a quitter and a "wuss", but its actually the opposite. They are interested and often want to make the change but arent sure how to start. All in all, I miss the ease of use of analogs, i miss holding it in my mouth while I drive, walk, do anything. But, I like having a sense of smell and taste...and I LOVE having money. So the positives outweigh the negatives.

I quit for about 2 months, using blu cigs then swapped to a better one, I loved not smoking, I felt healthy. Under the stress and duress of relationship problems among other things I ran out of juice and started up again... That was about 2 months ago, and here I am again, round 2, now with a clear mind, no partner to have around making things harder(smoking around me), I will do it. Even when I started back up smoking, I didn't miss it. That first one in months tasted like hell. Ugh just remembering going from a delicious healthier alternative back to that is enough to keep me away, I'm sure even if I don't have any liquid...

Not at all! I enjoy vaping so much more. Unlike a lot of ex-smokers I know , I'm not chasing the taste or smell of analog's. I'm running from it! The ADV's I have to me, blow the taste of analog's away. My sense of smell and taste have returned, I don't smell like an ashtray! I'm being completely honest when I say, I don't even think about analogs anymore!
