I think that either Desmond is being compliant because he thinks he can find Penny...OR, its like Saide...Saide is just an emotional blank slate...

Although it will be sad that the show is over, I want it to end so we get some answers!
In the last minute of the last show, Hurley steps out of a shower while his mother is laying out his chicken shop uniform on his bed and says, "Mom, you won't believe the dream I had last night about this crazy island and stuff."
There will be no more answers. 100% Journey-Ending.
Jack will be eating a cheeseburger with Kate in a diner somewhere. Hurley will be at the counter eating a bucket. Locke will wheel himself into the men's room. All the while Claire and Shannon are trying to parallel park Claire’s car in the lot.
Panning around the room you see Sawyer smoking a cigarette talking with Walt.
Claire bumps into the car in front of her and behind her 47 times. She gets out and leaves a note. As she walks away you see Sayid and Jin (with Sun) looking at their respective vehicles and doing a 3-way facepalm after surveying the damage.
Ben is trying to help Charlie get his GED in a corner booth. Locke wheels past Desmond buying an eight ball off Daniel in the men’s room. Richard is on the pay phone talking to his mom.
Juliet is running interference with the waitress so Libby and Charlotte take the "Honor Box" of mints on the counter and put it in Miles' backpack.
Claire and Shannon enter the diner and Jack looks up. Black. That's it, folks.

Isn't the frozen donkey wheel down the well? I think Desmond will do something, maybe turn the wheel again or do something to interact with the electromagnetic energy and make the island disappear.

Die-hard fan here. When Lost is on, I'm not even on the computer. I'm usually on my laptop and watch TV with half an eye. When Lost is on though, it gets my full attention. My favorite character is Sayid.
Not much appreciation for last nights episode, judging by the lack of posting. So consider this a bump so the thread doesn't get 'LOST'
Wow, that episode was rife with continuity errors and major annoyances. Not that I'll quit watching, but it's kind of become a comedy. Claire whining about abandonment issues and then they abandon her again. Her threatening the people on the boat when they have more guns than she does. Desmond falling down what looked like a deep well and then Sayid just looks down there and sees him right away. Fake Locke and Jack talking in the jungle and it's dark, then they come out and it's light.
And the reunions were half assed. Jin & Sun? When they ran through the sonic barrier I kind of hoped it was still on. Jack and Claire's reunion? And what's with that chick, Widmore's lackey, I thought she was supposed to be a scientist, not a mercenary. Uh, this season has really kind of sucked with the exception of a few episodes. I guess they are saving all the answers for the end.

at least now we get what it was all about, and they are setting jack up to take over nicely. But knowing the writters they will do a quick change at the end. Also interviews did say we as fans are going to be a little umm i wouldnt quite say angry but maby like "WHAT THE @#$% WAS THAT"
