Yes - several decades from now, when my eyes dim and the world grows dark, and the spinners sever my final thread, then I shall quit vaping. Of course, after I ascend to Valhǫll I expect to start again, for Odin possesses mods of gold with batteries that never die, and his endless well of juice has flavors us mortals can only dream of.

i kinda overkilled stocking up on nic in anticipation of the FDA's "deeming" regulations (aka, Vapepocalypse) and I have enough to last me about 6 years at my current nicotine level. However I plan on slowly dropping my nic levels by 2mg increments every six months or so. This way i can stretch it out more if needs be and hopefully wean myself so slowly i won't notice.

It might happen some day, but it won't be any time soon. I enjoy it and apart from occasionally needing some wick and wire i've got everything i need to last a long, long time

No plans to quit vaping - no plans at all...
I will keep on buying toys, just not those too big or tall.
This vaping thing has saved my life-
All that I enjoyed about smoking with limited strife.

And now the DIY, the Mods, the toys -
The community of fun girls and boys.
Why would I quit, I love this ....!
Oh hell, another store...
Must buy and vape more and more and more and more.

One last thing, before the Awe Shucks
The FDA, big tobacco and anti vaping squad
Sucks, Sucks, Sucks!

I read this in a Dr. Suess voice in my head.

I am analog free for over 6 months now, and have cut my nicotine level from 24 to 6mg. The funny thing to me is I can envision a no nicotine vape; however, I have no plans at all to quit vaping. I enjoy the taste, shopping for the latest and greatest atty, APV, case, tip, etc. I do realize that I have exchanged one addiction for another, but for the life of me, I can't bring up a solitary feeling of guilt. Am I alone in this, or do some of y'all feel the same?

No. You are not alone. I smoked 43 years. I've been vaping 1 1/2 years now. I currently vape 3.5mg. so it's not hard for me to envision vaping at 0 nic. In fact, that's my eventual goal, but I'm in no hurry. I am not even as "addicted" to acquiring gear as I was a few months ago. BUT...I will continue vaping. At my age, I see no reason to stop doing something I enjoy...and I enjoy vaping. There are few enough things for me to enjoy in this life, now. So why stop?

I initially intended to use vaping solely as a tool to get off cigarettes, actually as a substitute due to absurd over taxation of cigarettes (over $11 a pack for a pack a day smoker). Now, I have experienced already, and continue to, the health effects I had hoped to see from quitting nicotine altogether and have really found it was the smoking, not the nicotine, that was ruining my lungs and my energy levels. So, I could try to quit vaping but I smoked for 20 years and know from failing to quit countless times before that it is an insidious habit and one designed to passively eat away at you until you cave in. Therefore I continue to vape and I have no plans to stop. Legislation will not stop me.

Hmm, I was under the impression that nic would start to degrade after a year or so ... I understand you can extend this a bit by freezing or storing it in the refrigerator but how long does that increase it's self life?

While it's true that nicotine has a shelf life...if suspended in PG and kept frozen, it can be kept for 10 years or so. Or so I've heard from those who seem as though they ought to know. Maybe even longer. Some claim "indefinitely". I don't know. I'm not worried, really. I may never get all the way through my stash in my freezer since I figure I'll eventually end up at 0 nic. Maybe even sometime this year. Or not. I've got about 500 ml. in the freezer now. I only have to use 4ml in a 60ml. bottle for my 3.5mg. DIY juice. So it'll last awhile. It comes out to 7,500 ml. of prepared e-juice. Thassalotta juice!
