Myself and my wife and her mom all started vaping on the same day. I got rid of all my analogs that night and never looked back. My wife and her mom have been a little slower on switching over but I'm proud of them I know they will eventually give up the stinkys for good but untill then I make fun of em for still stinking lol. We are all using eGo-T and mini sub tanks and boge 2.0 cardos from mom and pop vapor shop and most of my juice comes from the vapor room. Happy vaping to all

All up in your grill..
Not only does she vape, she has converted thousands of smokers to vaping. I think her current all day vape is a blend of coffee, butter rum and vanilla. She smoked cowboy killers (marb reds) for like 15 years before we met. It didn't take me very long to convert her. ( We were together maybe a month before I talked her into trying it. She hasn't touched an analog since) Although we were together almost a year before she started vaping for a living. :)

Hubby and I both started vaping around the same time. I have chosen all of his gear because he's not on ecf. I do all the research, and when I buy something, I get 2. I stopped smoking cigarettes, and he stopped smoking his cigars and chewing nic gum. I diy all of our juice, keep our batts charged, fill our tanks, change out our cartos when needed. He knows how, but I like doing it for him. We really enjoy vaping...:)

constant state of confusion
I was in a 17 year relationship and we both smoked at least a pack a day. I decided I wanted to quit and found vaping and vaping community. He hated me vaping and couldn't stand the smell....yeah cause his Newports smelled so good. The more I got involved with the vaping community, the more resentful he got. He doesn't use the internet and had no clue how you can be friends with people you have never met. He pretty much gave the ultimatum "vaping and THOSE people or me."

Today I am celebrating the one year anniversary of my first "date" with my fiance, who has been vaping longer than I have and is very active in the vaping community. And I couldn't be happier!

wife and i both smoked when we got married. we have both quit smoking cigarettes and she has been 100% tobacco free since november and i have been so since october. i kind of made her life miserable for about a month, she was vaping and continuing to smoke 2-3 cigarettes per day. i have a 13 month old son and i wanted the nasty things out of my house. she finally gave away the bag of tobacco and the tube injector when day when i was at work. i made her life miserable for a little while but she eventually gave them up completely. i found it nearly impossible for myself to quit with them still in the house, i also liked rolling my own cigarettes they are much better then the garbage FSC commercially made crap. when people ask me if i gave up cigarettes for the cost savings i tell them that it was not, it was clearly for the health health of myself, my wife, and my son. i also dont want my son growing up with smoking parents and for him to think that it is acceptable behavior; it is not acceptable. my wife's smokers cough is gone but she still coughs up some nasty black tar junk occasionally, how long does that last? im glad she quit, she is only 29 years old and she had a slight smokers cough already.

im just hoping that quitting by 30 that all of the damage caused by the cigarettes will go away and that neither one of us will end up with cancer from it later in life.

My husband is a non-smoker/non-vaper. He tolerated my smoking with very little guilt. As far as he sees it, I am still smoking -- he doesn't acknowledge the distinction. Oh well. I'm happier with vaping than I ever was smoking. That's what is important.

Wow, show him some of the studies that have been done on ecig vapor vs. tobacco smoke, that might help.

I converted my last two girlfriends. Though I think they both have gone back to manuals after breaking up. Lol. I'm just upset about the two full Riva kits that are probably never going to get used again... Lol...

EDIT: hey look, I'ma super member now... Cool

Oh my bad they should of gave them back haha..

Vato (also Bato) is Chicano slang equivalent to "man", "dude", pal, or brother. It can also be used to refer to a fellow gang member. According to the Chicano poet Luis Alberto Urrea, the word originated in Pachuco slang of the 1940s, and is derived from "the once-common friendly insult chivato, or goat. It had a slightly unacceptable air to it, which the Locos and Weesas of the Chuco world enjoyed. They were able to take the sting out of racism by calling themselves a bunch of names assimilated 'good Mexicans' didn't like."

Im not mexican though I say It for fun lol.. my wife is Mexican though. Odelay!

On March 31st of 2011 myself, the wife, and the daughter had our last cigarette at 1pm. We immediately started vaping upon the arrival of our kits and getting the batteries charged. We had little problems with the transition, it was just making up our minds that we didn't want to smoke anymore. We knew after a couple of days that we actually had a chance at being successful. Days into weeks into months into our first smoke free year. The wife and I smoked for over 30yrs. She was smoking 2pad and I was 3 to 3 1/2pad.

My doctor considers me a former smoker. Every doctor I've seen says I'm not smoking.

On to the SO stuff. My wife and I both used to smoke. About 14 months ago she quit and went on the gum. I knew I had to quit too. So, I took up vaping. 3 or 4 months later she went back to smoking and I kept vaping.

Then she got pneumonia and she kept smoking. Our GP sent her to a pulmonologist and finally she asked me to set her up. The pulmonologist approved of the change. She's a former smoker now too. Unforunately, while her lungs are clearing up that may be a side effect of another problem. So. there's still some detective work for the Drs.

Before my girlfriend and I started vaping, we were cutting back bit by bit. It became more social for her (usually only smoking when drinks were involved, or occasionally during the day) and I was able to get back down to 1/2 a pack or so (outside of a bar night or something like that). We both stopped basically as soon as the gear arrived.

My girlfriend of 4 years and has never smoked a day in her life. She loves the fact that I no longer smell like smoke. I like the fact I can vape inside now. I wasn't allowed to smoke inside. She get's a little annoyed when I vape really strong smelling juice, but usually tolerates it. She does ask that I not vape in the same room with her whole she's eating, which I guess is courteous.

She already knows I'm a geek so she finds it as a good health alternative as well as a geeky hobby.

Overall she's pretty supportive. She may even come with me to the Hoosier Vapers get together tomorrow.

...snip...
My wife has the Njoy, Ego C, Ego 18650 mod and a Mini ProVari and some 30 juices. Not touching anything other than cigs.

All the expense in my signature isn't mine.

Sent from my MB860 using Tapatalk 2

If you want to sell her unloved provari mini, let me know ;)

I quit smoking on 10/29/11 after 17years of a pack+ per day habit using the patch, was completely smoke free until 1/23/12 when I bummed a couple of cloves from a friend after a deposition. The next day I was on my out the door to buy a pack of stinkies when a little voice in my head said "e cig! find an e cig!" The first tobacco shop I called had Mistics, and I had one in my hands 15min later.

My other half would smoke when stressed (usually at work), or socially, but never more than a few a day, and could have a pack in the house for weeks without touching it. He's taken to vaping like a fish to water, takes an ego to work with him every day, and likes to use my mods when he's home (but swears he doesn't want one of his own lol). I do all of the research, make all of the purchases, and fill all of his cartos for him (with 6ml juice I buy just for him so he doesn't get nic sick)

He put up with my smoking for the first few years we were together, but made it clear that he hated it and wanted me to quit. He has been extremely supportive about vaping, loves that I don't stink and am reducing my mortality risk - it's a good thing, otherwise he might not have been nearly as okay with the amount of money I've spent on vaping in the last few months!
