Battercup is a 6 years old American Doberman Pinscher and Chloe the Pup at the time of this pic was only 2 months old. Chloe is now 9 months old almost as big as Buttercup. Both are AKC good citizens and I'm in the process of training Chloe to become a Certified Therapy Dog.

So cool. They're great service animals. I worked with 2 about 6 years ago.

Andy became, well, a dog, lol. He graduated puppy school, but that was as far as he'd go. Georgia was AMAZING. She moved to Chicago and is working in a hospital.

Good luck to you Chloe! Dream BIG girl.

Lol I thought the crossed legs & feet were cute too.

I was really happy when I snapped that pic...

Lulu has a hemivertibrae. :( it is a risk of the breed. That pic was taken 2 days after getting her back from the vet. I had taken her to the vet because she was showing signs of rear leg paralysis. She couldn't walk right.. was in severe pain.. you could roll her rear feet & she wouldnt/couldn't correct them.. but most of she wasn't following me around bc it hurt too much.. oh & I was having to hand feed her people food by hand & she was refusing to eat most of the time.. took her to the vet afraid I was gonna have to put her down

Vets hospitalized her for 4 days keeping her immobile & heavy steroids & other drugs.

She got better! This little girl is my heart so to say I was relieved is a serious understatement!

Shes been doing awesome w the exception of her beach outing... she ran so hard & was so happy... she was bringing joy to everyone who saw her! But she overdid it. Thankfully with a little rest & some leftover prednisone she perked back up in just a day.. she doesn't understand she has this problem bc she feels great until it flares up.. but I have to force her to be calmer than she would like.

The truth is I never would have bought this breed. I knew the health risks. Plus @ 2k$ per pup its outa my league. However when I was training I had clients sign up w an adorable 10 wk old frenchie. 2 days later they not only wanted to cancel the training (we hadnt even had our first session yet) but they wanted me to help them find her a new home. So.. I took her.. & now I always want to own a frenchie.. such an awesome breed..

I can has tapatalked this.

The dogs were thrilled today since the cats had a meeting with the v.e.t. today. Shhhh...don't say the word out loud. Everyone is healthy and happy, but Pippin (one of the cats) seems to have gained a few pounds. He's now my little football. They're so pooped from the ordeal.

For those of you who want a Corgi...ugggg. Pickles is awesome but beyond stupid. He's a rescue who ended up rescuing me. However, he seems to need more rescuing because he forgets how to dog. Here's the famous poseflop.jpg

I used to have a Frenchie, my Marlon. He passed away 2 years ago. I was lucky that he was AMZINGLY healthy the 14 years I had him. Not a single health issue until he turned 13 and started having heart problems. He however, was not so well behaved. Sweet as heck, but very much had the "I do what I want" attitude.

The bold part describes my cat Penny. She is her own cat. We obey her.
