I'm a dog person. I grew up around 3 cats, siamese. They're cute but the meowing and noises they'd make
through the night used to drive me insane. Then we got a dog, it was a yellow lab, golden retriever mix. Such a great dog, used to dive for rocks. Unfortunately it passed away at 8 or 9 years old of a cancerous tumor. Then my parents got a yellow lab. It's their "genetic mess" they call it. He's cute as hell but has tiny ears for a lab, can't open his mouth wide enough to catch a ball, and his hip went bad and had surgery on it. I live on my own and got a black lab when she was 5 from a person i worked with who was moving and couldn't bring pets so I took this dog because she was the sweetest dog I've ever met

Say hello to my 10 year old black lab JASMINE! haha
Picture from around the time when I just got her
Jasmine used to play with this fox... they'd chase eachother back and forth no violence ever came with it but I didn't let them play too often in fear of rabbies or violence.
I also owned an iguana for quite a while but had to give it to a pet
shop due to not being able to afford to keep it anymore. Buying fresh veggies for it was getting to be quite expensive after a while
No it's not being violent, it's yawning
I miss the iguana, some day when I have a room to dedicate to one I will own one again. I always suggest to people to DO A LOT OF RESEARCH before buying one. They take a lot to take care of. You can't put them in a fish tank and expect them to survive. Dry food is extremely bad for them, and so are the few veggies the pet shops usually give them (example, corn). I feel bad for most iguanas because of the way your average person treats them, it's horrible.
