Dogs or Cats?

I'm a dog person, but I just wanted to post this pic somewhere...

I like dogs, but I prefer cats for their independence. Plus, when I was growing up my family used to train guide dog puppies and I always admired the way our cat put a succession of excitable labrador/retriever puppies in their place

I really like the way cats have so much character and can look at you like they're telling you to go to hell. I like their spirit and refusal to comply. They're not so great for people who like discipline and order I guess.

OMG - send that poor thing to me!

she doesn't move much from that spot anymore, Cali is her name and other than soaking up sunshine on her futon, she sleeps there, and by the door... oh and by the dog bowl for about an hour before dinner. She's not active at all. Good pillow during a movie though.

Here are my fur-babies - both rescues.

Mitzi 2 1/2 years old Schnauzer/Terrier mix - full of energy but sweet as can be

And her new little brother Yahzi (Navajo for "Little One" and he probably will NOT be little haha) He is about 2 1/2 months old - Not sure what he is - maybe Schnauzer/Scotty Terrier mix - but he is awful big for his age

That's Isaac, my red Maine ..... He is such a character but also very loving

I'm definitely more a dog person (big dogs especially), but we have 2 adorable cats that I love as well, even though they sometimes get on my nerves. Here's a picture of our furbabies.
