RDA Dragon wicking

I am not new to rdas and coil building, but no matter how many ties i try to wick a dual nano coil dragon style, it doesnt seem to work right. it works fine for a couple of hits, then the cotton in contact with the coil starts to burn when the rest of the wick is still fairly saturated.

Never having tried it, I did watch some build videos and from what I can see, it all depends on a very loosely packed cotton. Try not twisting your cotton into a very dense wick, leave it as fluffy as it comes right off the cotton ball, juice it, and then mold it into shape.

It looks like an interesting build and I'm gonna try it on my TOBH later...

I couldn't get it working for me very well either, I didn't get dry hits or burning, but I definitely wasn't getting much vapor. I wrapped my cotton in a pretty thin layer, and I put a cotton cloud underneath, still lots of room for juice though. Maybe you can figure it out better than I could

I had to take the top cap off everytime and drip, i haven't used it again ......

Shoot. I really wanted to like this setup. Im just so ocd about the efficiency of my wicks. When I am at the point where Im getting ready to drip again, it drives me nuts if my wicks are not super dry, If there is a part that is still visibly saturated, I re wick. I go through cotton like it was going out of style lol.
