At least it's confirmed that
a) unregulated (as I thought)
b) other bf atties OK (as we hoped)

But STILL - this is the 3rd review, and in every one, the reviewer squeezes the bottle..........................and like nothing happens. LOL.

Juice path needz work.
It's OK Kanger - good first try!

Based on the vids I've seen, the problem isn't the juice path in the mod but rather the atty. Lotta volume there that needs to be filled before juice reaches the wicking. That means a longer squonk than most of us are used to.

I'm picking mine up from the local vape shop tomorrow/today, so if anyone is interested I will come back in with comments and thoughts once I play with it for a little bit. If you have any specific questions you want answered please let me know.

Mike Vapes just did a review. I was thinking of getting one, still might someday.
It's basically an unregulated mod at this point. Looks kinda on the cheap side to me too.

FFS, I love my squonkers!!! This guy has never had a bottom fed device ever!!! What a load of BS!! Again I ask, why hasn't KT sent the device to an actual bottom feeder with knowledge of how they work?????????????????????????????????????????????

What amuses me is the reviewers all referring to this as a "beginner" device. Really? A setup that comes with with a 0.2 ohm build is a beginner device now?
So we know it definitely has a step down in the device as I am sure if it didn't the .11Ω coil on the 20amp 25R probably would've went thermal...

All this idiot mentioned was other atty's worked on it, never once said another BF atty worked!! Now I'm sure it probably would, but from someone that "loves his squonkers", you would figure he would have put one of his BF atty's on it to check how it squonked, or am I missing the point here all together????????????????????? He obviously doesn't and has never owned a BF device just the same as the other 2 idiots that posted reviews previously!!!

Meh, batteries can take a shocking amount of abuse before they go into thermal runaway. Not that I've tested this personally -- 0.5 is as low as I build on my mechs -- but look at Mooch's pulse tests.

You are probably right, but I also meant to add the fact that it wasn't the safest thing to put in a review of something you are thinking is good for a "starter or beginner" to use and then also add poor battery safety to the mix...

For someone that really understands battery safety and has some knowledge, running a 20amp battery at 33amps isn't really safe in my book and I wouldn't be holding that thing anywhere near my face, for sure!!!

Yeah and the fact that none of these "reviewers" have bothered to put a voltmeter across the posts of the atty just to see what it shows bothers me. Heck, none of them seem to have vaped it long enough to say whether the vape drops off with the battery voltage, or checked at what point it refuses to fire.

Ive seen him review and use the steam crave squonker. Then again, I didn't say he was the best reviewer there is on squonkers, just that he had done a review. I posted it solely for those who might like a look at it.
He did mention it had a safety feature. He didn't go into alot of details. Since it has no screen, Im not thinking it's a very elaborate one. Then again at that price point, well I wouldn't expect much either.

Ok so, I picked up my kanger dripbox today from my local vape shop, the owner was holding it for me and apparently was the only one since they had to pull it and wasn't allowed to sell it yet for reasons unknown, I didn't ask. Anywho, for 35$ I honestly can't complain. I've tried all 3 of my BF rda's on it, pancake, narda, and the hobo 3.1 and they all squonk just fine. I also used different pg/vg ratios and I don't see the plunger on the bottom being a problem, it takes a tiny bit more force then my mokooo mod but it's not crippling or a hassle by any means. Now mind you I haven't used the included rda but I'd assume that's when the plunger and amount of holes on the bottom of the rda comes into a problem. I mostly wanted to post to say yes BF rda's work and work well! Now I haven't been using for a long period of time either so I obviously haven't ran into any problems so far. Right now I'm using my NarDA with a single coil, 26g 7 wraps around a 7/64 bit ohms out to around a .90 and it ramps right up. Reading the included book apparently the button will flash if there's a short, or a too low of a build, something I haven't seen anyone mention the button does light up when pressed and vaping. Comes with the usual kanger stuff, little blue screwdriver, USB cable, extra bottle, extra coil for the rda, screws and little coils. The magnet bottom plate that keeps the squonk bottle in isn't as flimsy or loose as it seems, I tried shaking and everything and it stayed. But could pop off if not careful in the pocket, but the bottle is pretty sturdy and isn't going anywhere regardless, it's there too to also keep the mod level on your desk or what have you, without it it would be lopsided. The battery cover is also kinda neat, it unscrews to allow the battery in and out but the middle screws up to sure there's no battery rattle, I'd assume if there was a problem the least you could do is back the middle part out and it cuts the circuit, still doesn't make it any easier to get the battery out fully in case of failure. It's solid, it's small, comfortable in the hand, under 50 bucks, and a little beater squonk mod that fits nicely in the pocket. All in all I'm perfectly happy with my purchase and don't regret it one bit! Do I recommend it? Yes and no, yes because right now I love it, and no because I haven't fully spent hard time with it. If your any bit interested, I'd say go for it. I'm sure everyone in here has spent way more on a piece of gear and been disappointed, this won't dent your wallet in case of a let down. Feel free to ask any questions you've been wanting to know and I'll be happy to answer to the best of my knowledge. Cheers!

@HeiSINberg Nice! Thank you for the quick review, that's all I needed to hear
No problem, anytime! If my little first look review helps anyone in here that's good enough for me. Just glad I could share my input.
