Swapped batteries in the dripbox and it was just dead all of a sudden, tried another and still nothing. Looked inside and saw this:

I'm guessing this o-ring goes around the positive contact but not sure how to get it back on there. Tried pushing it back on with a knife handle but it just fell out. Any ideas what its there for?

Maybe you can try using a wooden skewer like you use for a shish kabob? They are pointy on one end, nice & long, I use them for all sorts of things. I'm thinking that o-ring is some kind of insulator for the battery contact?

Having had a good look in there with a torch I guess the real question is where the o-ring was. If it was just sitting loosely around the contact it may just be to prevent overtightening the battery and damaging the contact. If it has found its way out from the inside somewhere though it could be bad. Thinking even if I got it back on there its just going to come out again anyway. Vendor is pretty good so will see what they say.

Mine do have the upgraded contacts in them, thats probably because both that I have weren't purchased until after the upgrades came out... I wasn't, nor am not, trying to or starting any kind of pity party... Just asked a question. No reason to take it to that level. Doesn't matter what thread I ask the question in!!!! You having another bad day?

1 thing I've noticed however, my bottle cap doesn't sit flush. There is a lip at the bottom. Is this normal?

When I shortened the barrel, the limiting factor was the posts being very close to the top cap, which is now stainless steel. So I shortened the tops of the posts by .060" as well as the screws. This allowed me to make the barrel yet another .060" lower. I think I have taken off about .250" total by now. The chamber is quite small now, and the air slots are just below the coils- ideal IMO. Great flavor, finally!

That's it. I am done with screwing with this thing. Finally satisfied. Time to enjoy vaping it. :)

So has anyone tried running the atty with builds around 1 ohm?
Kinda wanting to cut back my juice consumption from 20+ mls @ 1 mg to less than tankfull @ 5 mg with higher build.
Kinda wanting to use this kombo, but does it produce ANY vapor at around 1 ohm?
The reason for asking I like the way this thing works with stock coils and wouldn't be wanting to waste me time with something that doesn't produce wanted results, aka decent amount of vapour, flavour isn't an issue with flavourless nicbase.:D

I'm running a .7 Ohm Single Coil in mine right now.

For a Single Coil, it is putting out Good/Average Vapor. It just doesn't have as much Flavor as a Smaller Chambered RDA.

I have mine with my Velocity V2 (worth 4 times the mod but who cares) I'm loving the combo.
I new I was going to use it that way since I purchased it but I tried the atty anyways and didn't like it, to airy and the top cap is not good at all, it was scratching my lip.

OK...

Got out Mr. Dremel today and ground off the Lip on the Inside of the RBA Sleeve. Kinda a PITA to do. But needed to Shorten the Sleeve Length. Once the Lip was gone, I trimmed off .160" from the Sleeve.

With my Single Coil 3rd Slot in the Top Cap, and now with the Shorter Length, the Flavor Factor took a Nice Jump Up.

I received my Kanger squonker today. I have only spent a few hours with it but here are my initial thoughts.
This is not bad. I was not expecting much, being a seasoned squonk user and I can say I am pleasantly surprised.
It has a nice small form factor and feels good in my hand. It is smaller than most other squonkers out there and
of course much lighter. It has a good feel to it and does not feel cheap and flimsy. No button rattle and the
magnetic cover on the bottom stays secure and does not wiggle. The mod sits perfectly flat on the table.
No delay at all when firing. Fire button has a nice clicky to it and is not obnoxiously loud.
I had no problem removing the bottle and filling. Really quite easy. I find that I do need to build at .04 or
lower to get a good vape. At 0.4 it is a smooth mild vape and at 0.25 it's a warmer deeper vape. Or at least that
has been my experience.
I also built a 0.3 and that is about my sweet spot. My Velocity and my Steam Crave BF atty's both work very well
with it also. It squonks well and drains back well on those 2 atty's.
So here are my little con's and it is only with the supplied BF atty.
The atty it comes with, works fine but it could be much, much better. The holes in the deck are too small so
you do have to use more force to feed the wicks. That said, I am using a 80% VG, so juice with a higher PG content
will feed better. I also am not crazy about the feel of the atty,it feels a little bit cheap compared to the mod
itself. I do not like that I can not use my own drip tips. It works and does what it is supposed to but it should
have the feed holes a little bit larger and possibly an adapter for the top so you could use your own drip tip.
For the cost of this though I can't complain too much.
The mod itself is a win for me and I see myself using it a lot.

OK... (again)

From the DTAAYMNIL File...

I have been using My Cut Down SubDrip all day. And have found it's Single Coil Sweet Spot. Vapor is Good. I just want More Flavor.

If I could use a More Restrictive Drip Tip, I know the Flavor would be Better. Just Don't have anything that will fit in the that Silly Kanger Top Cap.

Or so I thought.

I bought a 10 Pack of these last year from FT...

$1.97 Silicone 510 Drip Tip for SUBTANK Mini Clearomizer (10-Pack) - 20.6mm / Black at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

A Worthless item to go into a 510 Hole. Because they just Pop Off when Nudged. But guess what? The Outside Diameter of these Drip Tips is the Same as the Inside Diameter of the SubDrip Top Cap.

So Trimmed about .100" of the Big End, plugged it into the Top Cap Hole, and did some Test Vaping.

"Houston... We have Flavor." LOL
