Dual coil dripping atty setup

I cannot find the information I am wanting so I started my own thread. I know how u boys love to show off your working coils
so lets see them

O by the way I know y'all love the sub ohm set ups, but could u also show some that will work on a zmax? All the videos on YouTube are way too low to even try. I need to see a dual coil that's at least 1.8 or so.

Try 2.4 ohm coil then make another the same and it will come out at 1.2 when put in with the other one my vamo runs this fine hope this helps

Sorry about the sideways pic but its from my phone. Its two upsidedown tricro coils. Each one was about 3.2 ohms (made em just a little two big). Threw all six volts from my vamo at it and it barely fired, but I did something idiotic and got it to fire around 8v. Never made a cloud like that before or since. Tasted amazing. I will rebuild another (smaller coils) after I finish my dna20 box mod.

I think with a high resistance dual coil, you will have to use at the very least 32g kanthal. maybe even 34g. other wise the coils will be huge and heating time will take long.

I have some 32g kanthal, my trouble is all I have been wrapping is micro coils, singles, for Mrt r drip atty. When I did try to do dual coils I could tell quickly I was going to be too low for my zmax. That is why I started the thread. I know there are ppl out there not using mech mods but still vaping with dual coils.

i was able to turn 32g kanthal onto a 2-56 screw and get 2.5-2.9ohms so it is doable. I sugest getting a 2.56 screw from the hardware store and wrap the wire onto it and unscrew the screw so you will be left with a perfect coil.

I made a dual coil with 32 gauge kanthal in my protank2. It was twin nano coils, 12 wraps each on an 18 gauge blunt syringe needle. It ohmed at 1.4. Maybe you could give something like that a try. It would be run fairly low power as well.

The two resistances I like for regulated devices is 1.2ohms and 3ohms. I don't know why 3ohms hits so well but it works.

I need some more instruction please. I have been trying to use the tool box app and I am not understanding what I keep doing wrong. All I am trying to do is get dual coils between 1.6 to 2 ohm. I don't have the balls to go sub ohm just yet. I would like to get comfortable making could that won't go blow up

go thru some of his recent vids as you can see he is into the 1.3Ω ish area for dual setups... and if he is doing a setup that reads 0.9Ω....then go with more wraps or use a smaller wire to increase the resistance. There are literally 100s of videos step by step that go thru the process...you can get tips and all sorts of useful info in the thread, but nothing will compare or help your build skills more than watching one on the screen and building at the same time and you can pause and catch up and go at your own speed.........if you are shooting for around 1.3Ω......I would use your 30g or if you want to use your 28g.....your looking at least 12+ wraps....I don't tend to build that high....but there is someone reading this who can probably give you the exact gauge and wraps for your build....

I would use 32 gauge. Less heat up time. 8 wraps around a 5/64 drill bit. Or 2 mm. This should bring you to 1.5 ohms
