I'm sure it's probably a madvapes standard fare linear Fairchild 5V reg.

More for just some layout ideas.

I actually meant the lighter colored board that all the parts were mounted on . If I may another quick question that I think I already know the answer to . Any problems with running batteries in series and also in parallel ? Say 2 3.7v batteries in series for 7.4v and also a second set run in parallel 4 batteries providing 7.4v then also run to two regulators set at different output voltages . This is actually for a different idea I had for another mod .

This will give you an idea of what I am thinking .

I think maybe have the battery connections to the atomizer teathered with a remote switch sort of like a passthrough only without the batteries since they will be in this box . I am calling it "Tabletop VV x 2" . Last question ( well probably not ) is it ok to add a pot as well . Let say I set the regulators to 6v output and then have a pot for choosing what voltage to vape at . I just think a pot would be easier to mount for the user(s) to select thier voltages .

The trimmer on the board is not very convenient for adjusting the voltage when the cover is on . I mean OK if I could remove it and or move it so it is accessible then OK but as it is unless you leave the set voltages at what ever you set them at you would have to remove 6 screws to get at it unless you make a small hole to insert a screwdriver into but even then seems to be a bit of a challenge . A pot if you find the right one can be surface or panel mounted for convenience maybe with some kind of a knob on it . Not needed it is just for aesthetics
