What's the concensus on which version of the Dvarw to buy now?
I have the popular V2 which I'm extremely happy with: ($9.69 Dvarw MTL V2 Styled RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer - 5ml / 316 stainless steel + PC / 22mm dia. at FastTech - Free Shipping)

Is it much of an upgrade to the newer Dvarv FL?

"FL" means "facelift", but the Dvarw MTL FL 22 offers much more than just a facelift:
- Optimized 510 isolator for safe mechanical vaping
- 1.5mm shorter compared to the predecessor
- Peek bell
- smaller evaporator chamber
- offset wire fastening screws
- Improved wire mounts
- 24mm glass tank with 3.5ml tank capacity
- 2 x 2mm AFC insert possible (= 2.83mm)
- shorter tank thread for faster filling
- Viton O-rings
- optionally available with 22mm and 24mm
- Fixed position bell

The main differences as shown by @Katya above, is a peak chamber which has a fixed position, along with a whole bunch of new inserts. The deck posts now have ridges, so you can install thicker wire more easily.

Another option if you want the full set of inserts, as well as all the tank kits:

Me too I have none of either. I'd have to pick. I'd have to say I am going with the atomizer although it is also probably one of those things that would sit until I had brainpower. I just don't currently.

That tank kit is just an add on for the Orginal Dvarw 22mm MTL, it's been out a while.
It's (Across vape) wormhole tank kit, which is a China manufacturer.
To Basically to compete with G2 or steam tuners tanks for the Dvarw,
everything from Across vape is already made in China,
Where as G2 & steam tuners are custom add on's tanks for various RTAs from European modders, so makes them more expensive.

But it is for the 22mm Dvarw MTL before the FL version.

Can I get *2 .06 or *2 .08 AFC Inserts for this kit :

I believe the original ones fit,
the airflow adapters can also be picked up elsewhere maybe 3f or 2f I'm not sure if in stock. But worth a look.

The only problem with that tank kit, is I would say it might be better to use the metal chamber just so you can see if JFC is open or not being PEI on PEI can be difficult to see, (but that's just user pref)

Can you get a loose mtl to restricted lung hit with the DL versions.

I love the MTL with the largest insert as it gives quite an airy MTL.

Would it be worth trying a DL FL or is it solely a Direct lunk type of tank?

I've been running my Dvarw DL FL with the 2.5mm AF insert and yes it is a pretty loose MTL to a fairly restricted DL.

I did buy a few of the other AF inserts from KHW Mods. With the 3mm insert I am still able to get a decent but very airy MTL.

Also have an MTL FL and the largest AF insert 2×2=2.83mm installed. It's a very pleasant airy MTL.

On my older Dvarw's I have a mix of AF inserts installed for a tight MTL to a more open airier MTL.

IMO with the DL FL once you get above the single 2.5mm insert it starts leaning more into RDL to DL territory.

Although @AngeNZ does MTL with her DL's and the largest AF inserts installed (Frankenvaper).

I would suggest getting a DL FL and the 2.5mm insert if you are looking for an airier MTL to a more restricted DL.
