Ange I am curious to know given you have the 4 DL's.

Can you get a loose mtl to restricted lung hit with the DL versions.

I love the MTL with the largest insert as it gives quite an airy MTL.

Would it be worth trying a DL FL or is it solely a Direct lunk type of tank?

    Cheers

Nah, I don't think it's solely a direct lung tank at all. The airflow is still purely done by inserts, so as SMT said above either the 2.5mm, 3mm or the 2*2mm insert (~2.84mm) will get you close.

    This version:
    $10.32 Dvarw DL Styled RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer - 6ml (24*21mm (OD*ID)) / 316 stainless steel + glass / 24mm diameter at FastTech - Free Shipping
comes with a 3mm insert installed, along with the 2*2.5mm (~3.54mm) or if you want a 1:1 clone then the Ulton Dvarw DL FL 24mm also comes with a 3mm and 2*2.5mm.

And ignore the fact that I MTL with the 2*3mm and 4mm inserts. I was perfectly happy with a 2.5mm airflow doggy rta but then I stupidly tried a 3mm RTA, then a 3.5mm, and then a 4mm. It's a slippery slope

I believe the original ones fit,
the airflow adapters can also be picked up elsewhere maybe 3f or 2f I'm not sure if in stock. But worth a look.

The only problem with that tank kit, is I would say it might be better to use the metal chamber just so you can see if JFC is open or not being PEI on PEI can be difficult to see, (but that's just user pref)
    Will work regardless.

I have that type of tank on one of my khw series 8 decks pictured.(1)
    Then
    Steamtuners tank on another
And the 1st gen KHW glass tank at 23mm on a 3rd with bog rat airflow ring last one before FL version. 2nd pic

Steam tuners and across vape do offer top fill and jfc.

FT only offer a set which contains single hole 0.8/1.0/1.5/2.0/2.5mm inserts for the 22mm MTL Dvarw (non FL)
$4.85 AFC Kit for Dvarw MTL RTA Atomizer - 0.8/1.0/1.5/2.0/2.5mm at FastTech - Free Shipping

The makers of the Dvarw RTA, KHW Mods do offer the following inserts:
Dvarw MTL RTA AFC inserts – KHW mods

But whether they fit the deck of a clone, is anyone's guess.
    Those KHW Inserts cost $10. Ea + 15. shipping +/-$1 ¿$24 for 1 Insert ?

Most ppl would just add on a few inserts to their RTA order. And yes, it's of course more expensive than at FT.

However as these are inserts which are only made and sold by KHW Mods, if you want them - then this is the only option.

However even the smallest insert of 2*0.6mm that KHW Mods sell, is the equivalent of a 0.84mm id single hole insert. Which means you'd get just as much restriction from a single hole 0.8mm insert:
$4.96 0.8mm AFC Insert for Dvarw MTL RTA Atomizer (5-Pack) 5-pack at FastTech - Free Shipping

    or the 0.8/1.0/1.5/2.0/2.5mm insert set:
$4.85 AFC Kit for Dvarw MTL RTA Atomizer - 0.8/1.0/1.5/2.0/2.5mm at FastTech - Free Shipping

I agree with @ShowMeTwice and @AngeNZ --you can get similar loose (to restricted DL) draw from both MTL and DL Dvarws with different inserts (I got 2mm and 3mm inserts for the DL tank). I only got the DL version because I like 24mm tanks and large building decks--the MTL version gives you more airflow options, from very tight to very loose.

    How much is 93,64$ USD ? $ 9,364.
    174,63$ = ?

Thanks & I expect to pay more for authentic RTAs than for FT Clones.
I prefer a tight MTL and like the idea of a wider spread draw even if the total through put is equal to .08 but thank you for providing the equivalent AFC values 2* .06 2* .08 3*.06 3* .08 to 1 air flow bore. For me it may very well be the 1 deciding factor indeciding my RTA Preferences

You could get a 24mm FL MTL Hmm I d like a larger Blding Deck. Curious How would extra volume affect vape Taste?

Yes, but the actual building block is the same size in both 22 and 24 mm MTL FL atties, just the diameter of the base is different, so that doesn't help me.

Important to know. Is that the case for most atties or specific to Brands & Models ?

I don't know if there's a rule, but I suspect that if a certain tank is designed at first as a 22mm diameter tank, it's easier and cheaper to just make a base larger and leave the rest as is. Especially if the tank comes with a bunch of inserts--if you make a new larger deck, you'd have to make (and people would have to buy) larger inserts.

I went with the authentic MTL FL and DL FL direct from KHW. Each shipment was 3 days via DHL. Also stocked up on spare parts for the future. Bought several of the AF inserts for each.

I've had the MTL FL since it was released in June. Love it. I did not buy any of the tighter MTL AF inserts. The default AF on the MTL FL is 1.2mm and that was plenty tight enough for me. Currently I have the largest insert installed for a nice smooth airy MTL.

I did try a DL FL clone before I bought the authentic. I needed to know how well it would do an airy MTL to an RDL with the 2.5mm AF insert installed (excellent).

KHW Mods use a comma where we would use a full stop. If you want to convert from their Euro € prices to USD $, use this calculator:

I'm still very much a newbie to this RTA. Though I'm doing better, as I've only left the chamber top-cap off twice - and that was during my first week with a Dvarw :D

A tip passed on to me by @charlie1465 is that the Dvarw likes a tight wick. After spending so long only using BF RDAs, I've had to relearn how to wick an RTA.

My long-winded point is, if you want an extra smooth Dvarw, wick it tight

Does KHW make an authentic 16mm with the easy to coil posts?

What is the wicking difference since I'm on RTA & want to SFT with an RDA. Also is this9714478-1.jpg any good with sxx RDA? You think this RDA setup better For SFTing than RTA?

The posts look the same to me as in the older Dvarw MTL 22mm RTA

I just wick my RDAs slightly looser through the coil. And you may find it easier doing SFTs in an RDA over an RTA

Your link looks like the DL not MTL?
    Oops. Sorry :)

THIS one. They have the inserts and tank kits too.

Scroll down and there's other versions too. IMHO SXK and YFTK are the way to go for clones like this. I avoid the ones that don't specify a manufacturer. They may be ok, but I know that SXK and YFTK will be good. Or always have been for me at least.
