welp, the 5 wrap 26ga sst coil did not work out. I tried it in many different settings but it just smokes the coil no matter how I set it up. And if it doesn't, then there isn't enough vapor and throat hit. I guess with higher VG juices you need more vapor for more throat hit.

I swapped in my doggy tanks with coils with more wraps, they're all around .65ohm but one is a 6 wrap 28g sst, the other is an 8 wrap 26g sst, and both of them vaped great with no dry hit.

I've quickly wrapped up a 7 wrap 26ga sst coil and slapped it on the dvarw deck with the same TC settings and it vaped awesome. I guess I'll have to settle for more wraps and thinner wire to get a good vape with less ejuice consumption.

One thing to note is that, I've pretty much stopped using my doggy tanks since I got this dvarw. Could be the huge capacity, could be the fact that it NEVER leaks.

I don't think I ever seen those flat ones...pretty small hole in them?

Well, not really. Certainly not a chuff tip. Maybe 4mm x 2mm. Compare that to the insert sizes for the Dvarw. Ordered them thinking I might get a little bit tighter draw from my ego one tanks but made no difference.

Just got a pack of 6 in yesterdays vape mail. I gotta say they're the most comfortable tip I've ever used.

$1.35 Acrylic Flat Mouth 510 Drip Tips (6-Pack) 6-pack - ships w/ one of each color at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Wow... I was ordering my SMJY Doggy and added 4 of those
$0.78 Acrylic Flat Mouth 510 Drip Tip - translucent at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
I think they are the same.... my package is already in San Francisco so I will get them this week

I'm looking forward to hearing your comparison. I like the Dvarw AF insert system and the fact that it doesn't use threads on the plastic tank. That sounds like a problem in the long term. It was the weak point for all of my busted Aspire ET clearos.

So I have 3 darvws, one coppervape and 2 authentic. My clone has the small round juice flow hole on the ring and wicked traditionally. The authentic has the big oval hole and I wicked them with wicks going through to the outside. I'm finding the ones with bigger holes are wicking too much because I'm getting that less dense vape that's slightly harsher. I'm vaping at 23 watts but it's still seems to be over wicking. I'm going to try and bring the wicks in instead of thru to see if that makes a difference, if not might order the smaller hole ones

Mine has the humongous oval wick holes. Only had for 3 days and I've wicked it 3 times. No issues, just changing flavors.
This last time I also stepped up from the tiniest AF insert to the next larger one. Wicked same as before, cut the wick just long enough for ends to reach the ovals without really protruding through them.
With the tiny increase in the air flow hole I'm seeing a marked increase in vapor.
This is with a 1.75 ohm build at 10 Watts.

I think maybe it's because I'm protruding thru the ovals that it's slightly over wicking. I'm going to try on the inside like I have it on the small round hole one. I also have the 1.2mm insert, perfect

Perfect setup. Arctic fox firmware pico, SST 26ga, preheat 60w .2s, 3500mah 18650.

Dvarw tank is heavy.

I used the tank for a bit with the metal tank piece replacing the pc tank. Well it does add some heft and I went back to the pc. Im going to order the pc bell tank to try and eliminate the metal parts above the coil chamber and reduce the weight further. Or at least get the pc middle part with the threads, lot of weight in that one.

I wick the larger hole with the inside method and get the same as the small hole with maybe slightly more wicking. Let us know how works for you when try.

That's the 5ml tank? Yep looks a little big. I have two 3.5's and one 2ml and find them not to bad in weight. I don't like heavy or tall tanks and mods, so I always prefer 2 to 3ml tanks and very small 18650 mods. I think with the plastic you will see some difference. Although they are like 20 bucks plus shipping, you can get the steam tuners 3.5ml tank to fit your base. But if that's one of your only set ups you vape most of the day, then having a 5ml tank is needed.
