I was just transitioning back from DL to MTL when I discovered the Dvarw V2. So I still had a thing about tank capacity going on and made the mistake of ordering the 5ml version. Gawd, it took forever too vape that thing empty. The juice would start turning dark first. Granted I could've just not filled it all the way.
But I ended up getting distracted by my first pod system for a couple months. Then started hearing about a 16mm version, hmm sounded good. Then this pic from @ToolmanTexas got me fired up again.

Nice! But I'm kinda OCD about height to width ratio, so I chose a different route. Just ordered 3 of these Istick Pico Baby full kits from Breazy for $54 shipped. Should be like having a Dvarw pod system!

Gonna have to wait for my vape fund to replenish before ordering the 16mm dvarws but shouldn't be any hardship as I've been a fan of GS tanks forever and have plenty of coils stashed away.

Hi all & please indulge a question ;
Does this gadget, by way of design allow the juice in the tank to free flow to & from the wick ?
Or ... is fluid allowed 'in' but not back out ?
I tried a couple other of the latest mtl rta's & their downfall was juice contamination due to the open nature of the wicking arrangement.
By most accounts, this device has great flavor, is very easy to wick & I can live with the bottom fill.
Ive been a KFL user & they meet my needs very well, thinking this one might be as good as KFL flavor wise & with the added bonus of eliminating the (sometimes) finicky nature of wicking it.
What say the collective ?

As brew mentioned, the darvw does not work off of pressure like the kayfuns, therefore the wick tails are in constant contact with the juice. These days I believe they call this type of tank, gta's (genesis type atomizers) because of the wick being in constant contact, but is different or shouldn't be confused with the old genesis tanks where you used SS mesh wicks (which were in constant contact with juice). That being said, it's only the very ends of tails that are in contact unlike the doggy that is fully in contact, so the darkening is much less . The build does have to be a bit more precise then the doggy, but is every bit as flavorful and vapor production perhaps even a bit better.

Yea, it appears that liquid likely wont 'pass thru' the exposed wicks to the same degree as others I tried.
It contacts the wick ends only via the holes (it appears) so hopefully ; its liquid in only.
Guessing the fiddly aspect will be getting the tension/volume correct of the wick over the holes.

Just came back to this thread to say I absolutely love this little thing. I might just get one extra, maybe even with that Baby Pico for outside. I absolutely love the Dicodes Tiny, but it might just be my indoor vape.
One question though, @Foggy Road, is the Baby Pico unregulated, but protected? It says it won't allow more than 25watts, but I can't find anywhere if it's a fixed voltage or just semi-unregulated device.

It does have the basic protections. That makes it regulated IMO. But I'm certainly no expert. I'm thinking it's fixed voltage. Somewhere in the 3.8-4.0 range.
I think the Baby is basically the same thing as the Amnis with a tad more battery capacity and won't fire quite as low as the Amnis.
I have the Amnis in my rotation now. It can hold it's own on a GS 1.5 ohm coil alongside my VV Evod batts in thier mid power range. On the .75 the Amnis is really a little MTL monster by my standards. I expect the Pico Baby to be the same.
For myself I'm thinking (hoping) a build somewhere in the 1-1.2 range in the Dvarw Baby will be a perfect match for the Pico Baby.

That should have been semi-regulated. It was really late.
Semi-regulated is where it has protection, but just gives the direct voltage of the battery, so 4.2v if it's charged and as you use it it goes down (just like a mech) until the protection kicks in to not let it drain too much (like a regulated device).

The manual also doesn't say anything about it. I really don't get why manufacturers would leave this info out. Kind of important if you need to build for it. Although, of course they want you to use it with their tank, but still...

With the Amnis on a 1.5 coil noticed the drop off as soon as the battery level changed from green to yellow. Yet with the .75 it has just changed to yellow and I'm not sensing any change yet. I woulda thunk it would be the opposite and drop off sooner?

Yes getting the correct volume and density at the holes is definitely key. If you dont have enough or not touching just right, it will gurgle or flood and if there is too much, flavor will drop off .

@Rockford I have not, but I do have those yellow rubber cleaning/dishwashing gloves for when something gets stuck. Works like a charm. Seems like my Prime is ready for some lubing up and it was hard to get the jfc open, so those gloves work wonders.

Anyone happen to know (or willing to measure) the inner diameter of the chimney on the Dvarw 22 and/or the Dvarw 16?

You might get some new o-rings. I don't have the Dvarw (still deciding on it) but coincidentally I just received quality o-rings from a US store and some cheapos from Fasttech.

I bought both Silicone and Buna 70 o-rings in the US --wanted to try both materials. I'm not sure where they were made but both are stronger and higher quality than the original o-rings that were included with my Prime and Doggy clones. They fit better than the originals... some of the originals probably weren't the exact size. But also the original o-rings had much more flash left on them from the molding process. The silicone o-rings are slightly more slippery and slightly softer than the Buna 70. I do still lubricate the o-rings for the JFC on the Prime. Everything works better with the new o-rings.

I also got some cheapo Silicone o-rings from Fasttech. They are super soft and super slippery even when completely dry. Kind of wonder what they are made from since they are so different than food grade silicone available in the USA. ...maybe I don't want to know--haha! I use one of these under the air flow adjustment for the Doggy. It had been getting stuck in the closed position but now it turns smoothly and consistently. It does tear easily... and I'm not sure if it's really food safe... but it's fine for the control ring.

My first time ever , and never buy anymore those .... clones
bought this coppervape dvarw mtl and everytime i build a coil after third hit, taste burn and dry. no is not wicking becouse when i check the coil is wet and saturated but the taste flavour is so bad. I washed everything , removed o-rings and still is bad. the same with skyline coppervape clone and hurricane v2 the taste is horrible muted.
No regret as was my first time buying clones but having my authentics Rose V3 and Taifun GT4 thought what was the all about the clones
