if i was to buy a dvarw, should i get the regular size or the 16mm?
for some reason as KFL user i have a feeling the 16mm would suit me best.
can any one who tried both point the main differences?i assume liquid capacity and intensity of the vapor?
also if i buy one it would end being an original but i'll probably get a clone first to try it out;any company you would suggest for a well made one?(sxk,yftk,copervape..)
Thanks.

Copervape 16mm.. I like the form factor of 16 better but they vape identical imo.

I just got the 22mm and I've had the 16mm for a bit longer. I like them both but they vape a bit different in my opinion. The inner diameter of the chimney is ~4.5mm on the 22mm Dvarw and ~3.5mm on the 16mm Dvarw. For comparison, the chimney on the Kayfun Prime is ~4mm. Those measurements are approximate.

The length of the chimney on 16mm Dvarw (2ml) is similar to the length of the chimney on 22mm Dvarw when using the 5ml tank. The 3.5ml and 2.0ml tanks have shorter chimneys.

The 22mm Dvarw has (stainless) inserts with single air flow holes of varying diameter. The 16mm Dvarw has (aluminum) inserts with single, double and triple air flow holes of varying diameter.

You might get one of each clone and try them out first.

I go 22mm first see if you like it , more room to build ,
More options of tanks sizes capacity ect , Coppervape was the one that most started with ,

Chimney on that is quite large (3 or 4x) compared to standard Dvarw. I'm betting a change in flavor but for $11 probably give 'er a shot.

I wondered about that also when I saw it. The outer diameter is huge but the inner diameter looks like it may be close. I did some measurements from a photo to scale it and it was the same 4.5mm size. Just estimating though.

(chimney inner diameter/tank diameter) * 22 mm = ~4.5

Well, using a "eyeball" measurement using a ruler, both chimneys seem to be 4.0 mm ID. Keeping in mind that I'm still trying to shake off the mother of all colds, flavor seems to be the same (great) from both top fill and regular 2.0 ml tanks.

I bought one of the top fill clones, tried it for a couple weeks.
It vapes just about the same as the standard. Quite well.
Top fill is convenient to be sure but capacity is less so you're doing it more.
But here's the thing for me at least ; it misbehaves. Floods, gurgles & so forth after opening the top & refilling, not 100% every time, but often enough that it's intolerable.
No idea why, my other one that is the usual screw-off bottom fill has never disappointed.

Sorry to hear about your troubles. I haven't had any problems with the three I'm using (so far....fingers crossed). I run a 2.5 mm ID coil so there is ample amount of cotton behind the juice inlets. As long as the chimney top is off (I learned that the hard way) the juice flow/chimney turns quite easily and no leaks happen. I also found a drip tip that fits nicely and I don't have to remove it when I need to remove the top for a refill.

Have I been doing it wrong ? .. should I be turning the chimney & closing the juice holes off before I unscrew the top cap to refill ?

Lately I've been facing an issue with the dvarw. The resistance is jumping all the time, from 0.9 9ohm (what it should be) to 1.83 for example. I checked the 510, the leads are properly cut, the coil is not touching the airflow. I wonder what this is about... Changed for a different mod but I can conclude it's not the mod. Weird.
