After spending the last week watching my Grandfather slowly fade from an enthusiastic hunter, fisher, and outdoorsman into the sad person he is now, with doctors telling him that yes, the three tumors in his body were caused by 60+ years of smoking, they are spot on that this will be taken personal.

The government has spent how many years skirting around the tobacco industry? All for dollars and all while people die every day from smoking related issues. And now, when so many of us are finding a safer, cheaper, cleaner, more publicly acceptable alternative, they want to call it "untested" and "possibly unsafe"? Where the f--- were you the last hundred years when big tobacco has been soullessly killing people? Secretly testing their products and developing the most addictive mix? While they were marketing to kids with cartoons and cowboys?

Screw you and your ban, FDA.

Two things that I know will be true the rest of my life:

I will never let the government have another dollar of my "sin tax" money to fund smoking cessation programs that simply DO NOT work.

They will pry my 901 from my cold dead hands.
