I used to spend $240 a month on cigarettes. If I vaped nothing but Five Pawns e-liquid it would cost me 1/3 of that. Is E-juice is getting outrageously expensive? A resounding NO.

+1 for this. I think you can find a lot of good juices at various price ranges, and you shouldn't come close to what you spent on smokes. To the OP: you like Five Pawns; fine. Are you close to spending on them what you spent on smoking analogs over a given month? If so, time to find a different vendor (many good ones out there at different price ranges), or, if you're determined to stick with 5 Pawns, you might have to adjust the way you vape....

BluegrassTubb,

my apologies if the spirit behind my message came across as complaining. That was not the point at all. Isn't that the whole point of forms like this, so folks with common interests and passions can voice their opinions, concerns, ideas and spark conversation, that may end up leading to something great. I did not say I was going to stop purchasing boutique juices, if that was the case, I would have not posted the photos of some of my empty bottles. More or less, I was trying to say that eventually, if companies "like" (FIVE PAWNS) don't start offering some sort of member or loyal customer perks, discounts or bulk purchases direct than eventually someone out there will learn how to manufacture comparable juice at a fraction of the cost. Offering loyal customers opportunities makes them feel like they are part of the family.

My friend Russ started a company here in Nashville called Vigilante Juice Co. His juice Skull & Cross Bones is they best juice I've never had, at $22.50 a bottle its not cheap, but not as bad as FIVE PAWNS. Now if someone were to clone his juice, because of my loyalty to him and the fact I believe in what he's doing, along with I know the quality of the product is always consistent, I will still buy from him. On the other hand for these other boutique companies around, if they don't start offering some sort of incentives for loyal customers, and 2 months from now, some college kid from MIT figures out how to bulk manufacture amazing juice, would I still purchase FIVE PAWNS, probably not.. It doesn't take much to make a customer feel appreciated.

( I would like to preface, I am not coming down on FIVE PAWNS. There juice is fantastic, I am only hoping that somewhere down the line, they will consider throwing in a loyalty program for faithful followers.)

So basically what you're saying is that you're prejudiced. You're more than willing to pay a premium price for ejuice when it's to someone you know but think everyone else should offer you a discount for buying their product. Does your friend do his own flavor extractions like Five Pawns or buy his flavorings from the same companies many ejuice manufacturers do? Five Pawns has stated many times that their goal is to not only create a superior product but to never undercut their brick and mortar stores which is why the price is always the same everywhere. If you don't like their price then don't buy their product.

Do you also complain because a shirt from J. Crew/Abercrombie/etc. costs more than a shirt from Walmart? Both shirts are made from cotton and thread. Heck, they're probably both made in the same sweatshops. If you don't like the price then let your money do the talking.

I'm not some sort of Five Pawns fan girl, I own three bottles of their juice none of which I've touched in the past two months but I do realize that they make a product like no other that is oft imitated. The Steam Co. has made their own versions of Grandmaster (Merlyns Bow) and Castle Long Reserve (Gentlemans Reserve). Several other companies I'm sure have done the same. These companies are imitating Five Pawns for a reason, they make very good, complex ejuices that are like no other.

A vendor decides whether or not to offer discounts or punch card style frequent buyer incentives ala Subway. Ahlusion makes a quality ejuice and are the only vendor I know of that offers a slight discount for repeat customers (as well as discounts for military service members). It also sounds like you are wasting a lot of juice throughout the day. Maybe you need to reevaluate your vaping habits.

Bottom line: if it's too pricey for your tastes, don't buy it.

Stopped at a B&M at lunch and got 30 mls of juice for $12...Not bad for a retailer I can stop into when my online purchases are lagging. I buy from Lucky 7 vapes, 12ml for $2.09...you cant beat that unless you DIY ( which I am still considering )

For $2 a bottle, order 10 and try them out. I order with an extra flavor shot, do to the 50/50 mix I choose muting the flavor some. Can't wait till my Kayfun clone arrives next week.

Welcome to Flavor :vapor: I will go into Vapor Beast Mode ;)

If you can't afford the champagne you settle for the scotch.

The industry is currently booming as more and more smokers switch to vaping; these former smokers are ponying up the dollars looking for good juices; those $dollars$ constitute the demand, and holds the price up.

If you want to save of juice you just have to do some diy; simplest way is to buy some pg and vg and make a base and use it to cut your purchased juice; I think it works out pretty good for people who vape alot

Better to spend money on hardware you can keep than on juice going up in....... fog.

Edyle, How do you cut juice without loosing any of the flavor characteristics?

I didn't know they were local. I tried the Rogue last Saturday at Nashville Vapor and really liked it. I would have picked it up if I'd known they were local. Next time for sure!

LDS714 Russ is also a manager at Nashville Vapor. Tell him hello next time you are in the store. He works at the West Nashville original location. They have 4 TN locations and a NY location now.

You (OP) vape a lot compared to most, it's going to be expensive.

A lot of people seem to hit 2-4ml a day, so manufacturers may be deriving their price points from this. I got up to about 8ml a day but when I started a 10ml bottle would last me ages. I didn't know what to spend my money on tbh (juice is a lot cheaper here as well), and felt a bit bad for the shop truthfully. So while you may be thinking 'this is $27.50 every 1/2/3 days' after you buy juice, most people are probably saying "see you next week". Customers averaging a spend of $28 every 7/10 days is not that much, especially compared with cigarettes.
