Have you tried Ahlusion yet? If you haven't, you may be pleasantly surprised at just how good and consistent their juices are. Some do benefit from a good steep, most are great FOOB.

I absolutely second this. I think I found the holy grail with this juice. No let downs ever. No bitter pills for money wasted

If you can't afford the champagne you settle for the scotch.

The industry is currently booming as more and more smokers switch to vaping; these former smokers are ponying up the dollars looking for good juices; those $dollars$ constitute the demand, and holds the price up.

If you want to save of juice you just have to do some diy; simplest way is to buy some pg and vg and make a base and use it to cut your purchased juice; I think it works out pretty good for people who vape alot

Better to spend money on hardware you can keep than on juice going up in....... fog.

But wait, charging 8 times the raw cost of the product isn't quite good enough for them, so they tack on a couple more bucks just because they can….

I've seen worse than 8x.

What cracks me up is the idea that price always reflects "better". Oftentimes, it doesn't. Take it from somebody who has spent many hundreds of dollars on ejuice. ......oftentimes certain cheap juices are better than certain expensive juices, and vice versa.

For me it's been a mix of results, and after 2 years I can honestly say more expensive hasn't always proved to be better quality.

I have 3 all day vapes: one is my own DIY, one is from an artisan (expensive) vendor, and one is from a very inexpensive vendor.

You cannot compare the auto industry and E-Juice. A Mercedes is a Mercedes because the parts that make up the car are, 1. better quality, 2. better engineered 3. better manufactured. The Base substances in FIVE PAWNS (nicotine, PG / VG & FLAVORS) is most likely the same bases that other companies are using.

<snip>

Actually it is exactly the same. All cars are made up of metal and....uh, whatever else cars are made up of. What you're paying for is better design and performance and 'name'.

I'm not trying to defend Five Pawn (I have never had any of their juices) but it's my understanding that they make their own flavor extractions so that part of their juice is different, i.e. higher-priced. They also steep their juices (which takes time). And their 'design' is better (since you love their juices so much). Is it 'worth' what they're charging? Evidently it is because people are buying it.

Personally I don't think BMWs should cost more than $20,000 but I don't think they're going to lower their prices just because I think that.

If you don't like the price, don't buy it. Simple. I don't understand why people complain just to complain. There are hundreds of other juice vendors out there better suited to your budget. There's something to be said for marketing, if that weren't true vendors like Five Pawns wouldn't be as successful as they are.

I LOVE my 5 Pawns and Alice in Vapeland Juices however when times got tight I had to cut some corners and started DIYing my daily vapes(9 cents ML because I am new at it)....I still buy my favorite "boutique juices" and vape upto a tankful 3ML every evening (75 cents to $1 ML shipped) I also have some moderate priced Juice I enjoy from Strixx Elixirs and a few others(19-32 cents ML shipped)
Make your choices and pay for those choices...If you dont like the cost find another cheaper liquid and settle.

Absolutely! I have some 5P & AiV and use them sparingly. Same with the Jolly Roger & Poseidon. I'll buy a couple of bottles at a time and stick 'em in my "drip it for special occasions" box. Right now it has Poseidon, Grandmaster, Long Castle, Absolute Pin, Sixty-Four (OMFG is that good! And unique!), Captain's Custard, Sweet Tease (no longer available :( ) and Afternoon Tea in it. I'll pull it out while watching MotoGP or hockey or after a good day on the race track myself.

But for everyday vaping it's Fog Boss, Lucky 7, & EC Blends, along with some local juices and DIY.

IMHO, Five Pawns and some of the others are worth every penny.

I have learned that the #1 rule for a "business man" is to use proper grammar and spelling. Just sayin'

BluegrassTubb,

my apologies if the spirit behind my message came across as complaining. That was not the point at all. Isn't that the whole point of forms like this, so folks with common interests and passions can voice their opinions, concerns, ideas and spark conversation, that may end up leading to something great. I did not say I was going to stop purchasing boutique juices, if that was the case, I would have not posted the photos of some of my empty bottles. More or less, I was trying to say that eventually, if companies "like" (FIVE PAWNS) don't start offering some sort of member or loyal customer perks, discounts or bulk purchases direct than eventually someone out there will learn how to manufacture comparable juice at a fraction of the cost. Offering loyal customers opportunities makes them feel like they are part of the family.

My friend Russ started a company here in Nashville called Vigilante Juice Co. His juice Skull & Cross Bones is they best juice I've never had, at $22.50 a bottle its not cheap, but not as bad as FIVE PAWNS. Now if someone were to clone his juice, because of my loyalty to him and the fact I believe in what he's doing, along with I know the quality of the product is always consistent, I will still buy from him. On the other hand for these other boutique companies around, if they don't start offering some sort of incentives for loyal customers, and 2 months from now, some college kid from MIT figures out how to bulk manufacture amazing juice, would I still purchase FIVE PAWNS, probably not.. It doesn't take much to make a customer feel appreciated.

( I would like to preface, I am not coming down on FIVE PAWNS. There juice is fantastic, I am only hoping that somewhere down the line, they will consider throwing in a loyalty program for faithful followers.)

Well, here is my own personal take on all this "favorite juice" business. I don't have a bundle of money, not even close. I'm retired and watch my pennies.

My hubby is a die hard golfer, and has a saying for when you have a lost ball: "First look where you want the ball to be."

I applied that philosophy to my vaping experience when I first started. I did NOT want to buy a very expensive juice, fall in love with it, and then think I had to have it or else.

I looked where I wanted my juice to be, and that was at the inexpensive juice vendors such as Mt. Baker Vapor. I found quite a few juices that tasted very good to me, and didn't break my pocketbook. I don't miss what I never had, and I'm happy and content with my juice.

Let me say also, I have the reputation in my family as being ridiculously easy to please.:)
