Hi Friends,
i am realy sorry that some people could not order the items they wanted :(
I have contacted our system administrator and we will make a few changes in the shop.

1. we will make the basket in a way that everyone who take a item in his basket it will atomaticaly reserve the item for 20 minutes.
That means you can add the items in the basket and surfe in the webshop for other items without the risk to lose thme because someone made his checkout faster then you.
If you dont check out in a time periot of 20 minutes youre basket will be empty.
I think this is the best solution for all.

2. We will close the web shop 1 one before the restock and a message apear that we restock our webshop and you have to wait until we are ready, maybe with a countdown too.

What do you think about this changes ? are you agree
? or have you some other ideas?

Did you also have a solution for the second problem, that a already paid order is canceled?

Good for me Vassilis .:) 20 min . time is fair enough I think . You can also add an automatic alert prompting customer to check out before basket is emptied . Thanks for this improvement :)

Vassilis I suggest one thing, when you put the page that the store is closed, put on the page a link that points to the main shop page. This way people will click this link all the time instead of pressing F5 and refreshing the store closed page. What do you think? Easy to do.

With all do respect,Yes- it would be ideal to have every part to every device that everyone wants available at all times, but this is impossible for a maker like Imeo. There are many makers who only support/create very few devices and can't keep things in stock. With all the many devices Imeo has created and still supports, I'm amazed to see just how many parts and devices are available. Again, no disrespect but we all have to have patience and respect the fact that it takes a lot of time and effort to create the best line of vaping devices on the market. All we can ever do is the best we can, which I'm sure is exactly what Imeo does. :)

Definitely agree. How about this. It sounds silly but might be better to handle this using a pre-order just for parts. So that people who are in desperate of specific parts can get them. He can make pre-order part runs every 3 - 6 months. This would allow him to continue to make regular batches for small stock while addressing the "critical" needs using the pre-order batch.

because you try to reorder the same order and the system dont let this happens if the stock is empty :(

when i placed my order the first time everything on my basket was in stock, so your argument its invalid, is it my fault that your website its flawed?, i dont think so, it is your job to help your customers instead of ignoring them and issuing refunds left and right just makes customers ......, i am glad your trying to apologize to all of your customers and trying to solve the issue for the future, but you are not helping the people that got screwed this time, i however was able to place a second order whit the stuff i wanted because your system restocked all the items i needed for a split second, no thanks to you.

Other problem for me was the description of the items to sale in the previous list.

At 18:06 I collected almost everything that I wanted in shopping cart. Then we waiting for buttons, than appears pass 20 min, and the gosth justgg full venting cap. At 18:25 I think remember appears but not full, only without plastic and without ss cup too. I don't know if it will work.

At 18:27 the ggts collector tank disappears from the cart. And then the ithaka windows too... And progressively the same behaviour with more items.

Maybe the people that don't buy buttons has enough time to place the order...

Then with your two new changes and the appropriate items announce, that's problem will not repeat it, I think so and can be a good approach.

But for others type of problems, like Brem and other people with errors in his complete orders or double shipping cost, etc, I can't help... Maybe you have a system logs or some things like that to analize.

Take my words from constructive point of view, I try to give you some facts not my subjective opinions.

Sorry for my poor attempt in Spanish - but worth a shot...
I've also had items disappear from my basket while looking for other bits to complete an order.
Annoying, yes. But I believe the "new plan" of 20 minutes (was it 20?) before you "lose it if you don't pay for it", seems workable..?..
Hope you got "most" if what you needed...

I feel really bad for those who ran into trouble. But let's not forget how all these started.
Imeo went extra miles by making classical parts which were DISCONTINUED AND NO LONGER AVAILABLE.
ESG gathered and made a big batch sale to help people get everything they need in one order.
Both of these were very good intention and squarely aim at HELPING the community.

I, for one, never thought get a chance to own/assemble a Brass GGTS. Because of this batch, I got enough parts to build one via a single order! I am super excited about this and got nothing but a huge appreciation to Imeo and ESG team for making this happen! I am sure I am not the only person who benefited from this effort.

For those who didn't get what they needed. I truly feel bad about it but let's not forget that Imeo is committed in making these parts in the future. So, let him know what you need and wait for the next batch.

yeah i did, i reclicked reorder this order for 30 min straight thinking some other order would get messed up or cancelled and the items would be restock or maybe even the items that my order messed up, until it worked and my order went trough, i got the peny v3, the ithaka update and the ithaka upper body i was rooting for.

in the end it was pure luck, i was devastated that they messed up my order but i did not quit so no, no thanks to ani1 in that site.

i am glad trough, but infuriates me that some poor sucker like myself might have lose those parts in a similar way and i was just there spamming that option and when i saw no red notices i payed it in less than 10 sec, got my stuff but others weren't so lucky.

if you ask me i would make the pre-orders come back, yes it takes months but it wudent matter because you would get your spare part eventually.

Indeed !! let's not forget this unique commitment to GG customers from Imeo and ESG ... They both alerted ahead of time that some parts would be available but in very low quantity, so frustration was to be expected to some extend ... sure there's room for improvement everywhere (and Vassilis has a plan already), but overall this sell was more a party than anything else (an orgy for F5 experts ;) )
