Thanks Imeo, it still amazes my how prompt you are with answering our endless questions.

On Ithaka upgrade you bought the inside pieces and the mouthpiece. This time you have to buy the base too because the existing one cant fit the rebuildable part because it has fatter threads fanky. I will do my best to make it fit but its not easy at all

I have my Penny 2 vaping like train right now. I would certainly go for a shorter tank though, and keenly waiting for the Proteus...
Question - will the new shorter tank only be working without nr wires?
I really like the idea of a much shorter P&P combo - it'll be good. But would I still be able to use resistance and nonresistance wires on silica? Or is the plan only for resistance wire between the two upright posts?

The new body and the mouthpiece that I am making for the smaller Penny V2 version will work on existing penny Dontknow. The penny V3 will work with no NR wires Dont. Of course you will be able to buy parts of Penny V3 for your Penny V2. These parts are: new rebuildable part, mouthpiece and base
