that is a nice one Ariel !!! has it a special Name it goes by, never saw one like this before !

Thanks :)

It was made for the Mexico 1968 Summer Olympics Games, as you can see it rotates "anti clockwise" and has 24 hours and a (deformed) world map, to accommodate the different time zones, the center (blue circle) rotates with the clock hand that points the Mexican time zone, on the picture it shows 9:15am (Mexico city time), at the same time you can see the time on different parts of the world, pointed for with the arrows around the blue circle.

The black and white semi circles, indicate night / day.

At that time (I think) the electrical motors were not precise enough, so it uses a mechanical machinery (windup clock) and an electrical motor to winding the watch (it has a mechanism to detect when the windup is about to end).

Ariel buddy, that's a great watch and I proud that u own it.
In time we see how unique is every GG member,it's not coincidence that
It happen to be on GG forum.

No need to sell the clock though or
You'll end up living in a cave like me ;)

Better to built a software so we can bring the chess pieces of GG to actual game,
That members could play,hmm...if we had one capable of such on the forum
That would have been nice.
