what seal are you talking about, the inner plug? or the seal around the cup under the slits
V1john , how would that 3.1 ohm perform on a 4.2v batt like someone mentioned is coming out.
i think the vgo is a 4.2 battery, my kr808's are
The only thing is that the reason I said replace the cup is because it's so much easier to screw and unscrew the cup which would already contain the coil, than to replace the coil by plugging in the two legs. It's possible, but maybe both options should be available, I keep in mind and think of the coil as fragile, so I don't really want to bend it out of shape while plugging in the legs.
should i continue with the review tips and tricks in this thread or do you guys want a new thread for the r4
now while maybe for you and me its a non issue and we dont mind waiting others dont feel the same and others are paying the price for it, even now the r4 is out yet there is 5 versions of semi R4's floating around so i doubt these brilliant ideas are doing any good.
I didnt know there were 5 versions! I just ordered a 5 pack from CoV. What are the 5 different versions? I know of the bastomizers (3.75), the ones with filler inside, and the "good" ones. What are the other 2? Also, do you know what version CoV is sending out now, or is it just random?
The vGo battery is 3.7 volts, same as the KR808. They charge at 4.2 volts, begin working at 3.7 volts and taper off from there just like any other e-cigarette battery that is not regulated. The 510, eGo, Riva, Hello, etc. batteries are regulated. They have a headroom of 3.7 volts, but regulate at 3.1 volts until the charge drops below that.
Special people get special things, John. This one is very special because the 3 center loops glow before the ones on the end do. That's because each end touches the ceramic cup. These two factors should keep you busy for a spell while contemplating the ramifications of the E2 Cartomizer. Why did Br get a 7th loop and I didn't?
Cov is selling r4's they are at 2.5 ohms and are working great on my ego
Yes, COV is selling the TRUE R4's. Got some in last week and took 1 apart just to make sure. It turns out that some vendors are getting in what they are told are R4's, but in fact are Pre-R4's with Filler and Glue.
is a super e2 user friendly for the everyday new vapor, thats the question.
the masses wont want to fiddle around, they will want to fill and vape and chuck it away, not clean it, not change coils.
when u buy a pack of smokes, you open it and smoke a cig and throw it out.
Yea I had a very uncooperative vendor send me .......s .... I will not mention names as I am not sure this is the place to do it
I didn't mean to mislead you, Turbo. I haven't tested the vGo. I'm just going by reports that it is a 3.7 volt battery, which it obviously must be since it was designed for use with a 3Ω KR808 cartomizer. I expect that it will work very much like the eGo that Scottbee modified for 3.7 volts. So you tested the Vgo under load 'br'?
I was about to send one off to 'scottbee' to test. If that's the case then it's in a class of it's own of the ego clones.
By the way, to keep this on the r4, I'm now trying a 510 XL r4. It's a prefilled one and so far is doing great; no bad taste, wicking well.
