Happy Early Birthday in case I can't find you again on your birthday!

My oldest daughter's birthday is only 3 days after yours; she was born September 16, even though she was due September 6th; hwr, I'm not complaining one bit just as I don't complain that my youngest was due Christmas Day and didn't make her appearance until January 10th! I wasn't supposed to conceive let alone carry to term and I did both despite every specialist I saw from the time I passed out from ovarian pain in my 5th grade classroom and ended up in the hospital where specialists ran all types of tests and the end result was to remove my ovaries but thankfully, Mother refused to allow it. It's a good thing too b/c these girls are my gifts. I wasn't supposed to conceive yet I did; I wasn't supposed to carry to term and despite many complications with each pregnancy that required LITERAL bed rest along with numerous stints in the hospital for observation to prevent me from miscarrying or losing their lives as well as my own, the fact they were born beyond their due dates is okay with me despite the complications. We defied the odds and for that, I am eternally thankful.

My only sadness now is that my oldest daughter picked up smoking even after she acted as if she despised when I was smoking and then she dates a smoker then marries him and now she's smoking an ultra-light brand of cigarettes; hwr, I am nudging her and her husband toward e-cigs and they are using them but she's giving the same excuses I did regarding smoking - it's not often, it's not much, I can't tell any differences, etc... I guess the one upset is that they're still newlyweds for the most part even though they will celebrate their 3rd anniversary next month and they stay broke much of the time between the regular bills, her tuition, books, etc... and such so they can't afford to buy as much as either could smoke in order for it to escalate. At least that gives me some confidence b/c it gives me time to work on them about sticking with the e-cigs before she ruins her health even more (she was born with a heart defect that requires medicine and could ultimately require surgery to short out a mis-firing node) when it comes to her heart and the medication that keeps it in check and has to the point anyhow. If it worsens, it may require surgery but that's no guarantee it will correct the problem.

Anyhow, congratulations on your birthday & may you have many, many, many more!

PS: I never thought the forum would reach that 10,000,000 mark but it seems as if that number is quickly approaching and I'm glad! ECF is a sancuary for us all and a place we can come to vent, learn about new products, new companies, and support each other as we leave the world of analog cigarettes and the danger they cause behind b/c nicotine with PG/VG that goes in all types of foods from regular meals to desserts and even beverages and flavorings that go in all foods and candies! I've sought refuge and assistance to get my mind off of analogs that first year and it helped a great deal; once I learned to carry 2 drip tip bottles, with 1 marked and containing a bit of a higher nicotine dose to get me through these "nic-fit" moments, as I call them, I never looked back and now I am 4+ years without an analog cigarette! I do admit that I attempted to take a drag from an analog once and I was sick to my stomach all night. There's no doubt that my analog days are completely over; I learned that lesson the early part of my 2nd year and I haven't thought of trying it since. The one major downside is that I can't tolerate the smell of an analog cigarette. I've actually had migraines kick in from the smell of being in the same room with other smokers, not vapers but smokers of analogs. vaping doesn't bother me but the smell of analogs make me sick to my stomach and give me a whopping headache to the point where if I don't leave that area, the headache will become a migraine and often it will rebound until I get the injection needed to abort the rebounding that won't let go and I HATE the injection b/c it knocks me out for some 4 days.

Ahh, such a story! THANKS for sharing :) just a couple comments - our youngest son's b-day is 9/19 - a biggy this year, he'll be the big
'40' ! I was a 'child bride', actually.... (not!) I was also born on my Mom's mother's birthday so while she was alive, we enjoyed our times together very much! So, there's even more VIRGOs in our line and lots here too!

Both our boys are adopted so I totally understand the trials you've gone through and the joys of having your girls! I had one child, relinquished him to adoption when we BOTH were 'young' - and thought I'd have more - twasn't to be - so all 3 of mine are just as precious, because of the 'sacrifices' that are part and parcel of each of them.

I've learned also, that I'm not the only one who replies (and ends up with long posts/emails cuz I freely share with another 'soon to become a treasure' - friend!). Thanks! now I don't feel so much the oddball if my fingers get going fast (again) before my brain kicks in - giggle.

Our youngest is the one who shared with me his first starter kit (and juice) and talked me into trying e-cigs - I'm SO GLAD he did! I had no clue they existed, but he knew I wanted to quit and had tried over and over using everything available. He's been such a blessing in so many ways to me - thank you Jesus! (He's also put us through the normal parent trials too, tho. lol - 15 yrs of illegal drug usage, very close to being an alcoholic when and after he met his birthparents, then his bmom passed with cancer 6 mos later - some tough years behind us now, and he's doing GREAT with a wife and 3 of her kids, now. They're all finally settling in and are enjoyable to watch these days, carrying on.

Thanks for the b-day wishes - we've got no big plans other than eating out at my choice of place (grin). (?Red Lobster? - been ages since I've had my favorite there - lobster!)

I've not returned to the stinkies after I found a replacement for my first eGo-C starter kit (used both for a week in the beginning and so enjoyed the 'vape anywhere' [in our truck, in our RV] that satisfied me!] - eGo Twists with EVOD tanks now - very happy with both.

ok - here's my 3rd guess on when we'll hit that 10,000,000th post... first, today's count:
