The "Criticism" was awful to read, my 11 year old nephew has truly sent in more comprehensive first drafts at school. Went on the Website just to check and i wouldnt even want to buy anything from there (frat party sample pack?!?! no thanks lol). Stand strong OldSoldier im 20 years old, listen to Wu-Tang clan and even i don't want a bunch of people swearing needlessly and causing a ruckus on dear old ECF.
Ordered from that site not knowing anything a week ago, hopefully it wasn't a problem that will affect me.
Can't really walk into someone else's home and tell them what they are allowed to do.

I trust the judgement of the staff of ECF 100%. Hell if I could of made you guys the god parents of my child I would have I tell ya what.

You took the words right out of my mouth. I've heard people bad mouth this forum, and I just shake my head. I think it's awesome.
Your house your rules...it's as simple as that in my opinion. This is one of two internet forums I am a member of (the other being a traditional wetshaving site) and they both seem to share the same fundamental ideals. Mutual respect, some semblance of personal dignity, AND, an unflinching desire to protect the people that DO adhere to the TOU. The mods on both of these sites are in the unfortunate position of having to POLICE THE INTERNET! Not an easy task.

A little late to this party, but I do want to add my own two cents.
Last time I checked ECF was not a democracy or a representative republic but a private enterprise operated by private individuals. As such, they can, within a few certain limitations, decide what and what is not appropriate for their forum, period, end of discussion. It's kind of like watching a movie on TV, if you don't like it, change the channel.

So pretty much what she was saying is...
make the forum where people can say whatever they want to whoever they want in any form they want, be it degrading, insulting, perverted, hostile, vulgur just whatever don't "censor"

The most amazing thing about this forum is that everyone is so kind and those things she thinks should be allowed are not. I personally saw someone suspended yesterday for being just a hmmm well a brat. I found it irritating but when I later saw him suspended I thought wow ECF is not your standard forum. This is a safe place for anyone looking for information and come on..... if you want to know if a vendor is not trustworthy or whatever . .. google them.
I personally would like to thank you OS and all other's operating and contributing to this forum. It never ceases to amaze me the kindness of all the people and their eagerness to help anyone with their problem. I have learned so much just from this forum I thought it was wrong not to be a supporting member.
The advice I have received on here has saved me so much time, money and stress. You think you have a problem that no one else has and you post the question and within minutes you receive comments, instructions, videos, tutorials, photos just everything you could ever need. People even tolerate the questions that I have been known to ask- help me find where _______ (fill in blank) is on the forum. They kindly link you up!!! Okay enough but seriously I cannot thank you enough for this clean forum where people are actually here to give and receive help.

To be fair banning a vendor name will have huge negative impact on their business as this is by far the largest source of quality information on electronic cigarettes and juice. Not saying I disagree but it's much more extreme punishment than one would think.

The vendor in question was banned from ECF anyhow so in the end it is more of a matter of who we wish to associate with and who we wish to stay clear of.

I think you probably need to reread that, those are three separate examples -- and it is an extreme stretch to try to tie them together.
I don't see how that's ECF's responsibility. While they do provide a venue for vendors to advertise their wares, that's not the purpose of the forum.
Never said it was, just pointing out where frustration from the vendor might be coming from. In the end the right choice was made by ECF but being able to see an issue from an unbiased perspective helps understand each sides viewpoints.
Too many people these days just follow the majority. Torches and pitchforks went out if style a long time ago. Luckily this kind of open minded thinking is exactly why the ECF is so well moderated. Issue over let's move on.

Our decisions are not made by torches and pitchforks the Vendor in question failed to meet our simple requirements to become a registered supplier and getting up being banned because they chose to be sneaky and promote themselves anyhow. This happened long before the current issue.
