ECF Rule Benders

OK lets see how many of us have been warned or got a point or two for an infraction.

My first warning was for posting drug or drug related content

Next I got a point subtracted for calling a seller a Gouger in the classys

Lastly I got a warning for using symbols to bypass the censor.

Each time I got a warning or infraction I always respond with a apology and I try to not do that again. The rules are clearly stated and I broke them so I try to fess up and take responsibility. Not once was I victimized buy the moderators, always 100% guilty as charged;-)

I made a comment that related to the ethnicity of a mall kiosk vendor once.

I referenced the idea of a start-up business and was swiftly reprimanded for not being a registered supplier.

I may have made reference to an illicit substance.

I'm a cuss word expert, but haven't been called out for dirty language... yet.

I just got "moderated" for a link to a video with some cursing in it, the video did have a disclaimer though regarding strong, adult, language. Don't know if I got any demerits for it, however, it is probably on my "permanent record". First time for me.

I posted a sale in a deals and steals thread and got it removed... The mod explained that general sales were not allowed, but about 8 pages back someone else had posted a sale from the same vendor that I had and no one blocked it, so I was totally confused I ended up just avoiding the thread since I couldn't post but another person could LOL

2nd time I posted a funny pic in a blog, I think it had a dirty word in it... it was blocked

I can't think of any other times, but I could probably get into trouble for unique and unusual ways to get a irritation across without actually cussing LOL

How can I know if I have demerits or points taken off? Points taken off from where?

Was looking for old things someone might be willing to sell me because I knew a lot of people didn't like them when they received them but didn't post it in the classy's, got accused of trying to circumvent classy rules. Didn't know they had any at the time because I hadn't been on in a year. Ooops!

I got a warning after a thread got heated and I answered someones question as to why people didn't like her a little too truthfully.

I can see where the mod felt it was a personal attack looking back at it but at the time I was like "What the ...., I just answered the question." hehehehehehe
