I have a pack I keep in the console of my car:) Every time the "memory" of how "great" an .... log was hits, I pull one out and light up, the farthest I've gotten since Aug 09 is 2 drags because they taste so disgusting, burning weeds!8-o Smoked 1 1/2 to 2 pks/day for 37 years:) The mind/memory is a funny thing!:D

there are still times that i crave an analog, such as after a meal or other activities ;)...

but since finally getting my batteries for my 6 volt mod i find myself vaping at these times now. i was smoking 5 or 6 a day 4 days ago... got my bats and have smoked 1 cig a day since and that one will be gone in the next day or so.

i vaped and reduced my smoking over a period of 2 months till i found a device (6v) and a nic level that satisfied my cravings. durring that 2 months i went from a pack a day down to the 5 or 6 a day.. and since i received my high voltage batts i've almost totally quit

Just wondering how many of you have smoked analogs along with the ecig?

Another one who hasn't felt the need...but I am also just a little bit wary of doing it in case I really enjoyed it and had another...and another etc...

I used to love the act of smoking...I'm not sure you can completely put 25 years of an adiction you enjoyed behind you in the space of several weeks. :(

So many people here say they quit analogs as soon as they got thier PV. I still smoke. I want to smoke quite often. The only thing that pv's have done is cut down on my analog use (which is great, but...) Vaping is "something else to do" it hasn't become a replacement for smoking.

It is very frustrating for me.

We are all different, it may just happen for you one day without you even conciously realising it. :)

Remember that there are other options you can use with your e-cig as well...a lot of the folks here seem to have found "snus" quite effective.

And hey, you know what, at least you are trying and you have cut down on the smokes, pat yourself on the back for that. :thumb:

"Haven't felt the need..." Sounds like the most typical response - and mine as well.

Quit smoking the day my 510 arrived (last week). Looking back at the last few months of analog smoking (30 yr habit 1 pack a day - minimum), I discovered that i would light up and only really need the first few puffs - but was "stuck" with the remainder of a 30 cent cigarette. Lousey, filthy habit and the last of a dying breed at my office (seems like everyone else has quit).

So, now I vape only when I need the buzz (or throat hit).

This is a great alternative for me!
