I started vaping on 6 June so I was, I thought going to be eligible, however; I also got the "Thank you for your willingness to participate, however, we are looking for survey respondents who fit a different profile."

I have a very keen interest in this study however I have to wonder what the good doctor is looking for........

PS I'm a banker so I see deception everywhere I think its referred to as paranoia.

It's not paranoia, if deception is so prevalent, is it?....I think then it becomes less paranoia and simply a matter of logic. I'm confused by that study and it's point...they are looking for vapors that smoke...hmmm, suspect...I guess, using the correct variables, surveys can be persuaded in any direction thus making them a useless tool to do nothing other than deceive those with no time to deeply investigate the surveys themselves.

I was accepted but I believe it was because I was a past smoker, current e-cig user who had tried Wellbutrin, Chantix, patches & gums in the past in an attempt a quit. Several pages of questions but the last ended with "You are in a unique position because you have tried Chantix" and all those questions were compare & contrast between the effectiveness of the two.

Just an update. I was accepted for the survey a month or so ago,(can't remember exactly). This week I got the second survey. It was very short just 5 questions. Mainly seeing if I had made progress or not. Any one that is accepted please follow through with this. It just may help with the research that is going on. Thanks to all who are trying to do this.
