OK - seem to be enough interested. I'll have my guys start on mockups this week and we should have a few to bounce around and throw rocks at in a few days. I also registered ecigusers.org (meets one of the top 36 Google algorithms for SEO ranking) I'll donate to the cause.

Sun - I would assume you'd provide legal guidance?

Webby, you need to host videos? I can get a second copy of PhpMotion online in about an hour on my server. I got an ungodly amount of bandwidth and space just sitting there doing nothing each month. I thought Pittube would be popular, but it's lightly used, so I can donate the space and bandwidth. Let me know.

As I posted in the SE v FDA thread, it's probably too late for a fledgling organization to influence that case, so if this is going to happen, we need to look to the next battle. Come up with the worst-case scenario, what needs to happen for that worst-case to come to fruition, and prepare counter measures for each step in between. That way we won't be just reacting to events, we'll have a clear plan in place for each one as it happens. Anything pro-active that can be done should be. SPEC seems to have pretty much died (partly my fault, since I got involved elsewhere doing other things, not all of them electronic cigarette related), but I think the core ideas are still sound. We need to work with the manufacturers, the government, and the public to get a quality product freely available to adults that is widely accepted as a safe way to have a smoking experience (with or without nicotine).
That's a lot to do. Let's get rolling.

We'll see. It depends on how quickly we can throw this together. We have a lot of resources at our fingertips from the pledged support I've seen so far in this thread.

I'll seek application for the 501c4 tomorrow, and establish an EIN for the organization.

I would like to donate to this cause. I want to be part of the organization that best represents me. I haven't been vaping long, but I have been living for some time now and do seem to enjoy that pretty well. Taking my PV away would kill me........ literally. Membership in to a very well ran organization should not be hard considering we are actually fighting for our lives. This is not like they are taking away our right to a liesure activity, they are literally scuing a truth that puts all our lives in danger. Since Im already on the soap box, one question. Is there a comprehnsive website that spells out the E-cig truth, like all the studies and the statistics on one web site. If it has already been mentioned ( which I figure it has) please excuse my ignorance.
