Tracking info received for the Burl Mesquite. My first Phidias. Been a REO guy for a while, can't wait to see Martin's craftsmanship!!

Tracking says Tuesday and after I figure out how it works I'll be vaping soon as possible!

Thanx FONO/Martin
You are in for a treat. Pictures don't capture the true beauty of these things.

Hey Fono: looks like I am going to be a proud new owner of one of those snazzy Spectraply blue and red mods, thanks for your help in this. I will be back soon. In the mean time feel free to stop by if your looking for shiny things to mount on top of them. Thanks again to you as well as Unsure you two are both awesome!

Roscoe I know you are a REO guy and am wondering how you are running your Phidias??

Any and all pointers greatly appreciated!!!
I mostly run my rm2 or.cyclone on it.at around .8 ohms. Put something behind your bottle for the first week or so to make it easier to squonk. I used a folded piece of paper towel. Once bottle breaks in it gets easier to squonk it. I did end up extending my feed tube to the reo style only because I didn't want to have to think about flipping my phid upside down to squonk.

Roscoe can you elaborate a little on turning it upside down to squonk? Doesn't the juice then end up in the drip tip? I have one in bound. ;-)

I have never had trouble with juice running out drip tip. The feed system on phid is considerably smaller gauge than say a reo. If anything I find sometimes I have to squonk twice to fully saturate the wick with my high vg juice. Anything past horizontal works fine for squonks. It will be evident once you have your phid in hand.

Thanx Roscoe!!

I'll prob try either a Cyclone or a Divo and see how it goes. Heck I think I even have a couple HH357's left from my early REO days.

When you extended your feed tube do you mean just a longer tube to go to the bottom of the bottle?? Is the tube the same size as the REO tubes??

Tracking says my Burl Mesquite arrived at the local PO @ 0536 so maybe I'll get it today.

Thanx for your help Roscoe!!!
