FYI one of those spectraply phidias that Fono just made just showed up in the classifieds.

Not surprising I made him an extra one---just wasn't happy with one, so I made another and sent him all three...

I've been pretty busy with the holidays...hope to get out to the Phiditorium today though...
Happy happy everyone
Best

Yep...I posted it up with a lovely Chowderhead atty. It's a beautiful mod, works like a charm but I've just got the squonk box trade bug.
I'm gonna have to start doing the trade thing. I seem to be collecting bf mods. I have bought 4 in last 2 months and am building a 5th. Problem is I get attached to them and don't want to give them up[emoji12]

I feel your pain. I started with a standard Reo Grand, soon figured I could throw it on the mill and convert it to LP myself. I'm assembling all the parts for a GDNA30. I've given up every other type of mod and gone strictly Bottom Feeder. Problem is that it's still a "niche" thing that it's hard to find people willing to trade.

I'm curious what atomizers everyone is running on their Phidias and at what ohms?? I tried out a Doge at .4 and an Odin at .3 and both vaped well. Seemed to hit a bit softer than my Reos.

Also, anyone have any good ways to get the taste of old juice out of the tubing or a way to replace the tubing? Maybe convert it to a vertical feed?

Most of the time I run rm2 at .6 ohm. That's as low as I feel comfortable pushing the switch as most of them have a 10 amp limit. I extended my tubing to reach the bottom of bottle with a cut off piece of needle and a piece of extra tubing I had laying around. You can fill your bottle with PGA and flush It thru tubing and 510. That should help.

I tried a Doge at 0.8 and it's taking forever to heat up the coils.....I'm going to keep trying new things until I get to the bottom of it. I may need to get a new Neg spring from fono. The spring in mine is showing some evidence of heating up.
I got a bit of spring sag In mine as well. I was able to use my flat tops without the supplied magnet spacer at first but now I have to use it.

Thanks

I'm just shooting for a warm, dense vape with a fairly quick coil heat-up. I just tried the Doge (which is not suited for that at all) since it was the only one I had laying around not being used. I'm going to try a higher build on my Odin bf and see if I can find the sweet spot. I know my spring sag came from waaaaayyy too low ohms, and that is totally my fault. I'd love to replace the spring on my own if possible. It's not Fono's problem that I decided to push the envelope
