An update...

I've received a positive response from Alex at Vaperev... no actual commitments, but as this is still in the planing stages, I don't expect anyone to offer product, promotional or financial assistance at this time. It'd certainly be nice... but no one I've contacted got to where they were by giving away the store. ;-)

And now... back to our regularly scheduled BS. Cheers!

Not like the kids behind the counter at this shop...

Wow. I would never go there, and I don't particularly care for indoor smokers either. It seems like he burned away too many brain cells on those "hip-hop cigarettes". I skipped around on the video but the two biggest facepalm moments I had were these two lines:

"I have been rebuilding and sub-ohming for like 2 to 3 weeks now". How in the world is he the "expert" on the video???

And the worst one: "Never drip juice with nicotine. It's dangerous." Ummmm, I nearly died laughing at his lack of knowledge, and yet he works at this B&M. I do drip a lower nic than what I use in my crappier tanks I use as backups for my Acro on my MVP, but I drip between 6 to 11mg and am just fine. I do have a higher tolerance to nicotine, so I do get 11 to keep my urges at bay. These fools are some of the people who highly need this class, yet would be unwilling to participate.

PS comments are disabled on the video, which I found out when I was going to rant on them for being uninformed, so I had to settle for a dislike.

trying to do something more about the rampant lack of education about vaping that's out there.

It's stickied all over the place............ so what % of ECF members do you think READ the entire Battery University tutorial?

Just want to say I wasn't bashing State of Flux's very nice idea.....just that I myself feel innudated by data and information on ecigs and vaping, in other words, IMHO there is more than enough information, tutorials, etc. out on the internet already, that is, for anybody REALLY WANTING TO LEARN.

The reality is, it's out there. The other reality is you can't make people read or watch it.

And newbies will continue to walk into shops who will be happy to sell them sub ohm vaping kits as if it were toilet paper. And we will just continue to dump on the "stupid newbie vapers".

And there's perhaps (one of) the problem(s). There's too much "information"... and which of it is right, and which is utter BS? The relative n00b really doesn't know.

None of the information I'd propose to provide would be new... but it would be vetted, organized, applied in logical layers and disseminated in a way that builds confidence and knowledge, rather than serves only to confuse and obfuscate facts with untruths, old wive's tails... and mystical mythology from the mucky mire.

Off to my shiny new job... till this evening. ;-)
