I have this problem too, terribly bad, though it doesn't have a single thing to do with the clouds, which I don't really care much about either way. For me it's just flavor, and also the noise that tanks make. I used Kayfuns for almost a year, got 4 of 'em, so you'd imagine that I got pretty good at building/wicking them. But after having used Achilles RDAs since about April... now I can't make a kayfun vape worth a flip. It's very distressing, but even with a nice 1.8-2 ohm coil, nice Shiseido cotton, everything perfect... all I can taste is cotton, and the racket sounds like the house is burning down, all that popping and crackling and bubbling and gurgling. My Achilles are silent, or nearly so; not a bit of pop or crackle, just a little sound of the air from the one that still has the screw in it -- the one without the screw is perfectly silent. They only gurgle a bit when they need refilling -- that's how I know it's time, since they're full-metal bodies.

I just hate that those Kayfuns are going to waste, I used to love them so much. :(

After saying all that, I will now be a spoilt brat:

Spent the entire day shuffling around like an old penguin. Went off to work with an almost empty Aromamizer tank, so not much vaping but I definitely smelled like yogurt the whole day. Went to the physio in the afternoon, who did not do much and advised me to take nurofen and panadol (pain relief medicine). Endured a strong and sudden storm in the afternoon, came back home to discover the power was out. Flipped main power back on, filled my Aromamizer to full and cleaned up the leaking tank. Then found out I had no internet and that my modem might have died as a result of the surge. Now, I sit with a smile on my face and my vape in my hand. Oh happy days hehe :)

Sounds like it was this kind of day:

I have lots of kanger subtanks. Nano and mini and I just can't use them. I'd rather drip on the go, on the few occasions I'm on the go, than settle for the using the same juice and box mod but getting so much less flavour and satisfaction.

I got the Wotofo ice cubed today. It's probably the most flavour orientated RDA I have tried so far. It still has decent airflow but I would say the flavour is about twice as good as my lush. It holds a decent amount of juice for an RDA, nice straightforward velocity style deck and it looks frigging awesome.

I'm still switching between it and the lush when I feel more like flavour or clouds. My fishbone has given up working on me. The centre screw won't grab the 3 wires, or even two. The resistance is jumping all over the place. It has been relegated to the 'things I will look at when I can be bothered' box :(

Can't say I'm familiar with any of those RDAs, I'm such a diehard tootle-puffer. :D Mostly because of asthma -- too much vapor just about kills me! I stuck with the Kayfuns for so long because I really believed a tight-draw tootle-puffer could never find an RDA that would deliver the kind of vape I like -- but Magmas aren't bad, if you can overlook their tendency to leak, and then I found the Achilles -- a tootle-puffer's dream come true! Tight draw, top-notch, super-saturated flavor, and NEVER EVER leaks -- and they hold 2.5ml! Figures, doesn't it, that they're not made anymore. There's an Achilles 2 now, but the authentics are nearly $100, and so far they haven't been cloned. Quite a few Achilles fans are waiting with bated breath for clones of those!

I have tried the magma. I disliked it so much I actually posted it to a member on here!

I guess I would be classed as a cloud chaser. Not because it looks cool or anything, nobody else sees me do it lol I just find it much more satisfying and therefore it keeps me off the cigs. It's doing its job well.

When I first starting dripping I thought all RDA'S would be much the same except with a different aesthetic design. I was obviously very wrong and I'm enjoying trying out all the different ones, working out what I prefer to build on and what works best with the juices I favour. It's costing the other half a small fortune but I guess it is probably still cheaper than turning your money into ash :)

Ouchy! Ouchy!

@Waxxiii Firstly, I think there may be 2 versions of the Smok TFV4, one of which is the mini included in the micro kit. I was lucky enough to come across a Youtube video, by Robbie Vapes, where the TFV4 was compared with the Uwell Crown. TFV4 is built with more air flow, so it's noisy and chucks the cloud. The reviewer was not able to put the same build into each tank to makes things fair. His result was Crown's flavours went strong until the 100W mark, where the vape started to be too warm. The TFV4 always lost on the flavour battle until it got 100W+, where it still continued to work and provide flavour. The TFV4 mini may be different and more manageable for us tootle puffers, but not the TFV4 me thinks.

@AndriaD As I am still a relatively young lad, I would be lying if I said I was not entirely interested in blowing big clouds; however, flavour is more important to me. I understand it is pretty much a balancing act between the both, that's why I chose the Aromamizer and Griffin. I've spent too much money on "Premium" juices. After watching Youtube reviews of people tasting the complexity of juices, I was keen on getting the same experience. Reality has taught me that after quitting cigarettes, it will still be a while before I can taste everything, but I'm still keen on enjoying myself nonetheless.

Ouch! <shuffles back to bed>

@braveminion I still love my Subox Mini. It produces nice flavour and shall always have a special spot in my heart as it helped me get over smoking, but after using this Aromamizer on the RX200 since yesterday, I must say whoa!

I know the following views may be different from one person to another, but I could not move past 30W on the Subox because I get a vape too hot mixed with a funny taste (either the coils or cotton). I intend to investigate this later to see what's going on. It obviously has to do with ohms, resistance and heating limits on the wire, things I'm still a noob on. I'm learning as I go. I'm still surprised that I am now vaping at 55W on the Aromamizer :)

Yay for 55! I couldn't get beyond 45 on my evic, I had the same issues. Too hot and very noisy. But now I'm happily puffing away at 104w on the x cube 2.

If someone offered me a cigarette right now I am 95% certain I would say 'No thanks, but do you want to give this a try?' For all the years I vaped with the tanks I would have bit your hand off for a real smoke.

There is a set up out there for everyone. Other people can share their experience and advise you but only you will know when you have reached that point. I like that your subox mini holds a special place for that reason. I guess even though I've had 7 RDA'S in the past 4 weeks, I'd have to say it would be the lush that got me here. Perhaps it will always be my favourite because of that.

Certainly doesn't mean I'll stop buying more though lol

If you like the Lush, try the Sapor from the same people. It's one of my two favorites. And top air so it doesn't leak easily if it falls over.

There is a certain "Downton" flair to it...

I'm seeing an interesting collision of worlds here.
Downtown was a song performed by Petula Clark
It was written by Tony Hatch... who wrote the theme to, yup, ex No.1 Soap Opera "Neighbours"....

..oh no.. you are talking about Downton Abbey; "I know nothing"

We've got "War and Peace" at the moment. It's a chick oriented dramatization. I just vape on and make coils... let the Girls watch it.

I am so bored when there are no VaporFi threads.

The sapor and the Freakshow and maybe the troll are all on the list. The two Wotofo's I have are awesome so I wouldn't hesitate to try the rest of them.

I've just managed to fix the hell boy which was the first RDA I ordered. It arrived broken so I'm about to try it for the first time :)

I have a Freakshow. It's a grand machine, but I am not all that fond of bottom air drippers. They leak, you know :)

The UK is home to most of my hereditary roots, and the origin of my language, as well as a VAST catalog of great literature. I'm always intrigued to hear English spoken "British style", and ponder how it grew so flattened, "over here."

One thing that particularly piques my interest -- southern accents are often depicted as having no or soft R's, the way the brits say R's -- but that's really only true in the places that were particularly settled by the *english* (such as Virginia) -- here in GA, there were a great many more Irish and Scots, so our R's are quite hard, completely enunciated.
