I don't see how this could happen either, I would try a syringe and start your fill from the bottom and put that syringe on either side until you see the top of the cart very wet, then just let it sit for a couple minutes and you will see a small little puddle underneath the carto, (overflow) you know its full then, wipe it off put it on and vape away, this thing is so simple, no muss no fuss.

Fabsta Echo is good stuff man you will like this unit. I'm liking both the stock soft rubber tips that come with it and the 801 Drip tip, I'm running one of each on both of mine, I do like dripping into these cart's and keeping them topped off but like txt said you can go for quite some time without adding anything. These Ecgo's are working very well for me I have been running them since 4pm yesterday non stop and they have held up putting out plumes of nice vapor with great taste.

So I guess the soft 801 cart tips would work too. I think they may be shorter than the one that comes with the kit. I have tons of those from my m201 days.

I see you changed your avatar. That is an impressive collection you have mwa102464! Great pic :)

Yup, happened again last night when I went to put it on the charger, I don't get it since the other one isn't doing it and all I am doing is screwing on a carto and going.

Does any of the led lights come on when you screw it in and are you sure it is not charging. Usually the big red(on mine) led comes on when it is charging and goes off when it is charged. The little red light on the usb plug turns red and then green when it is charged.

Naw, it's the battery, if I gently pull on the connection with a paperclip it works, but apparently I have to do it everytime? lol

My charger is a newer style apparently, the green/red lights are on the AC adapter, the USB dongle stays red when plugged in, no matter what if a battery is in it or not.

The light on the battery will lightup when I pull the connection out, the light on the AC adapter will turn red, it'll charge, turn off and the AC adapter will turn green. When I unplug it, the battery blinks and all is well... Until the next charge LOL

The iGo carts will do that if the juice it too thick as well. One of the tricks to these puppies is filling them very with thin juice to start with. The moisture build-up from vaping wets the carto even more which will reduce the flavor. So.... start very thin then refill with thicker and thicker. It's a dance, but it works.

I think that's what happened to mine. I had some THICK juice and was burning up cartos fast! Not kidding, went through three in about three hours time. So I thinned it down w/vodka (not too sure I should be inhaling that, but hey, I'm used to living dangerously - I've smoked for years) and then I think I made it too thin.

It's a dance alright and apparently I've got two left feet.

Does anyone think we should request an Echo sub-forum? The Echo threads are getting a bit fragmented.

Just a thought.

JJ

We tried - it was a nogo with the gogo so no go echo (sung to the tune of.....) I guess when social groups are allowed to be formed again - we can do that.

Some of these cartos are just bad from the get-go. There are some that just blow burnt vapor no matter what consistency of juice you fill them with... so it's not your feet, m'dear.

I will just start a thread like we have for the Go-Go, only for the Echo. I know what you mean This thread is getting a little confusing now that there are several Echo users we can have a seperate one.

well my kits and carto's got here a day early. They look real nice . I ordered the ECHO-E in a split kit with 1 1100mah and 1 1300mah battery each . the 1300 battery has a silver band and the 1100 has a gold band , but the 1100 came with an ego cone also, then I also got some chrome echo kits in 1300mah , these have a red LED on the end. now i just got to get my site up and all will be good.. in the left pic top is 1300 echo-e bottom 1100 echo-e right pic including echo standard in chrome..And also I filled an echo-e carto, and it took about 2.8ml of juice so they are a little off from what the factory said as far as 2.3 ml is what they are supposed to hold.. so that is a plus..
A few questions for you, Johnny:

  • Am I correct in my understanding that you will be carrying the standard Echo (not -e or -v) in that beautiful chrome? At what mAh?

  • Also, do I correctly remember you saying that the taste of the Echo reminds you of the 801 and Leo (which happen to be my two favorite atomizers/cartomizers)? Is that the standard Echo or Echo-e or both?

  • Finally, when are you going to be open for business?
Thanks!

I ordered an Echo kit from dput (Dennis) on Wednesday and it arrived today! I got the KR808 compatible one, with blue LEDs and I ordered one of each size battery in my kit .. a 650 and a 1300.

When it arrived the first thing I did was fill up one of the cartomizers with a syringe, making sure I pushed the syringe all the way to the bottom of the carto. I put 1ml in, then moved the syringe 90 degrees and added another 1ml, then moved the syringe anoither 90 degrees to a 3rd spot and added the last 1ml. I stood the carto up, on a paper towel and checked each of the batteries on the charger .. yes they both lite up, so I then knew the charger and the batteries worked.

Having no patience I put the "just filled" carto onto one of the batteries and cautiously took a vape. I say "cautiously" because the juice I use is caramel based, 35%VG and I've had trouble in the past with burning tastes in other cartomizers because of my juice.

The first vape was perfect, no burning taste. The 2nd vape was again perfect. So was the 3rd, the 4th .. the 50th .. on and on .. I chain vaped the heck out of it for 45 mins, one hit right after the other, never had one burning taste ever.

The draw is too airy for me because I vape on mods using an atomizer, so I taped up 3 of the 4 holes ... ah perfection! The taste of my juice came thru stronger, no burning taste.

I had tried an automatic back when I first started vaping nearly a year ago and it was a frustration, had to draw super hard on it, it would shut off way before I wanted it to, etc. Having an automatic like this is fantastic, it draws so easily and keeps going and going without shutting off.

The taste of my juice is very good on the Echo, not as good as it is with dripping or using a bottom feeder with an atomizer, but for the convenience of having a 3ml cartomizer plus the ease of the automatic battery, the Echo is fabulous! I never bring my bottom feeder box mods out in public, that's when I've always brought my KR808 instead. But from now on I'll be bringing the Echo out, instead of the KR808.

I have a huge stock pile of KR808 cartomizers, I tried one on this Echo and it works great. So that is another positive for me with the Echo, I can still use up my regular size KR808 cartomizers on it if I want.

Buying from Dennis was a complete joy! Not only did he answer my PM's fast, he shipped the kit right after I ordered it on Wednesday and here it was in my mailbox at 11:30 this morning!

I was so happy with this first Echo kit that after using it for an hour I sent Dennis a PM and ordered another kit. I just got a PM from him that he got my payment and he's shipping my 2nd kit today .. what a guy!

It's a great kit, from a great supplier .. I'm happy-happy!

He has the 1300's in chrome at least he did. I just got mine and boy is it a pretty one. I think you will really like these, I know I do.

Hey..not sure if this is where I should post but here goes...

I just tried a CE2 Carto on my 900 mah Smoke Tech Ego Clone bat and it SUCKED...terrible taste....like burnt shoe leather would taste......blech....

Then I tried the same CE2 Carto on one of my Joye Tech 650 Ego batts and it was...Delicious...dont know how to explain it....if anyone could help it would be much apreciated. Thank you.

All I know is I really "like" them on my 650..but they taste like CRAP on my 900....hmmmmm

Yes, I have been keeping the CE2 horizontal as to keep the wicks wet....this is the SAME carto...screwed off one and then screwed onto the other...hmmmmmm.

Purchased it from HC so I think its 2.5 ohms. They were sold with no resitance labled.
