Who is the manufacturer of the iGo, major? I always like to know where stuff comes from.

They are sourced through Eigate HK which seems to be where all are coming from. Being in Hong Kong though, not sure if they are the actual manufacturer or just the primary distributor.

Thanks. You sound like one of the folks that have their act together on the GO GO and I Go . So sorry about your health issues. We know that is a real bummer.
I noted on the I Go it says you have to fill with a syringe. This may sound like a dumb question--but where do I buy one??
Nhaler doesn't sell them, and I didn't see any other supplier that did either. I'm sure I could probably get one at a pharmacy (maybe); but what on earth would I tell them I needed it for???? Also, what SIZE do I need??

It's all the little things with this whole process of deciding what kind of system to get that tend to make me a little frustrated.
I started a thread on the Newcomers forum about my first try with a system and the horrible results. Have had a lot of good info from lots of nice folks--so am going to "git er done" LOL

Thanks for the kind words. :) In all honesty though I just have a lot of time on my hands and have picked up a wealth of knowledge from folks like Mohawkz, TxTumbleWeed, BILLB, Nate and the list goes on. ECF is great for not onlt support from fellow users but to source starting points for locating items and where they are made, etc.

As has already been said, you don't have to use a syringe. The same tilt the carto and drip from a bottle works very well. Some simply prefer a syringe as it allows you to start filling from the bottom, raise up and fill a little more mid-point and so on. I use both methods to be honest. If I'm having a hard day, I usually use the drip into the top method. If I am feeliong froggy, I'll use the syringe because for me, it seems that using a syringe promotes a faster way to get the entire filler material area soaked more rapidly.

Many, many online shops sell the syringes and blunt tip needles. Just a personal preference for me is Mad Vapes since I get the best price on my beloved DK-Tab juice. They carry the Luerlock syringes and blunt needles cheap. I mean cheap enough ti use a place I order from regularly so I don't have to pay needless shipping.

If you go the syringe route, take a strip of clear Scotch type tape before first use and put that strip length-wise over the lettering on the syringe. Most I have used are just stenciled on and any juice that gets on the markers or the hot water cleaning of them will render them useless since either will take the needed measurement markers off and leave you with a blank tube. :)

+1 for what BILLB said. I do know that Tony at CropDuster or Dput at MoutainVapor contacted Hangsen the maker and they were advised to not charge with anything rated higher than the factory charger. For the Echo charger, that is 150 mah output.

Compare that to my old V4L 808 charger which is also kr808-d1 and it is rated for 200mah. Definitely fits the Echo but will at least shorten the lifespan if not damage your Echo battery. I suspect it has something to do with the makeup of the Echo cells chemistry (just guessing of course) to be able to get a 1300mah charge on a battery about the same size of an Ego 1000.

While I will probably just listen to the manufacurer's recommendation, for the sake of full discussion I infer from Battery University that using other chargers may not be a problem.

Battery University says "Charge currents with Li-ion are less critical and can vary widely. Any charge will do, including energy from a renewable resource such as a solar panel or wind turbine."

Of course, there may be other factors at play than just the charging current that are the reason one should use the specific Echo charger.

BILLB is our resident Igo guy as is OMG. I have looked long and hard for other vendors state-side selling the Igo but have not found them anywhere but Nhaler. I did get a quote from the manufacturer but with my health so up and down, I am not a good candidate for being a supplier.

Folks can empathize with you when you have health issues but as the old saying goes "friends are friends and business is business". I wouldn't think of being a supplier unless I could provide fast shipping and decent customer support. BILLB hasn't said but he has inventory on other items in bound. Maybe if there is enough interest for that item we could talk him into carrying a few. ;-)

HATS OFF to BILLB....Finally got the IGO kits in! Hurry everyone...rush on over!! :)

Can the ECHO battery be charged with a charger from a KR808D-1 kit?

Thanks!

Sadly, no. The interface is not compatable. The standard 808 chargers that I have are too recessed to allow the Echo battery to screw into it properly. Maybe other 808 chargers out there will not have this problem then the question becomes SHOULD you use the old 808 chargers on the Echo (I would if I could, but others, including the manufacturer, caution against it).

What I now want to know is can the iGo battery be charged using the Echo charger?

Vape Town
After days and days, I finally made it through this whole thread! I've been reading it because a: my Riva just got here last weekend and B: I've been reading up on the iGo.

I got the Riva based upon a recommendation I got while looking for something to drip with - specifically to sample juices. Got burned out on wasting cartos trying new juices. My Riva is 650mah and I have to say that there is a huge diff in flavor and I love it. Do I vape with all day - no. I love my 808XLs. I found my sweet spot for cartos w/ a Jumbo Dripper MF Style from Nhaler. Love it. Vape and TH - good for me.

So, if I have an 808xl with a carto that holds 2.5 to nearly 3 mils (after first fill) and I can vape on it all day or nearly all day, at 380 mah, v somewhere between 3.7 and 4.2 - what would be the reason I would switch up to an iGo down the line? Some of my xls - batt lasts most all day and at most - I go through 2 batts a day. I can handle that by always having an extra of everything on me in my lil case. We have what 1100mah and 1300 mah? What exactly does that do for me? Longer battery charge?

My Riva is really handsome..lol. It's great for dripping around the house :D But I really prefer a longer, thinner sleeker look. I know...such a girl thing!

Also, isn't the Echo just the auto version of an iGo? At first I loved my autos, but now it seems like I reach for my manuals. However, in dropping the $$ - not sure which is worse..taking a chance with a leak on an auto or the button wearing out on a manual.

Edited to add - I did notice that the Kego (??) had a longer sleeker look..but is just fresh off the presses? Would like to see more info on that one too!
Vape On!
