Hey Tex, thanks again for starting this thread. And thanks for your reports on the Echo. Hopefully soon I will receive my Echo-E (eGo-510) carto so I can report also. I am eager to try that baby.

Do you think it's time to start a new Echo thread? I am hesitant to start one myself because I am a newbie. But you are the gentleman road scholar so what do you think?

I might be a road scholar but it was a mighty bumpy road I traveled down to get that degree. lol I guess we could but this is working pretty good for now. I will after a few days and I've used it a bit. I'm in the middle of moving to another house so I've just had time to pop in and out but we will get something going.

I've been using my Echo for three days and still performing very good. I did find the whistle tip comes off fairly easy if you stick it in your pocket like I do but the 801 drip tip fits it perfectly and will never come off.

I'll know soon enough in a day or so but was wondering how you found flavor/TH compared to the GoGo

I haven't tried it , because i haven't really felt the need for it. I was using my original cartomizer up until yesterday when I had a fishing incident and it got soaked. this has got to be (at least for me ) the most fool proof cart I have ever used. you never need a primer puff, it always taste the same from start to finish , and there is no fiddling to do , just keep her toped off. I used to always try to make it better because there always seemed to be some kind of problem with everything i have tried before. but I have had a trouble free experience. fogdaddy has a cart he has been using for 2 straight months just refilling it . that is all he has done to it just keeping it full and in his words it hits the same as the first day he used it..As soon as the ECHO-E carts are available it will give EGO users the opportunity to try this new cartomizer without the need to take a plunge and buy a whole kit . so keep your eyes peeled for those. the hold 2.3 ml as with that design they have it so the carto covers the cone threading on the ego style battery . but they use the same design technology. they have been available in europe for a few months but are just now hitting the states..

I found the flavor and throat hit to be so close it is really probably more in your mind than anything else. i do notice with the gogo I need a primer puff. I don't need this with the echo and IMO the throat hit is just a smidge stronger on the ECHO but that as always is subjective to the user..

I'm waiting on that Ego design, these things sound really good Johnny, I'm not happy about losing that .7ml though, the 3ml was really a super number of ML's to me, thus if there as good as your describing it may be necessary to pick up a couple of the Echo 901 Batts to get the 3ml's who knows I just know I want to try these. Do you know if the Ego fitting cartos will be in the $ range like the Echo cartos are ?

It may seem like some of us are talking these things up a bit, but I don't think that is the case , for me personally i have been searching for a trouble free PV for quite a while. and have tried everything. i used to enjoy trying cart mods and and all kinds of things to try and make my vaping experience better. At this point I just want it to be easy I don't want to have to mod anything or clean anything on a weekly basis i just want to fill a cart and go. that is what I am able to do with this PV that is just my personal experience.

yes the price should be the same, fogdaddy has his own site already and mine is in the works, we were talking about pricing yesterday and will be keeping these at the same price as for anyone else who gets in on these we don't know.He is all good to go and has more on the way as we speak as do I . I was trying to get all stainless on the ECHO-E and missed out on the last batch, so mine are delayed at this time. but Anthony should have some ECHO-E carts by the end of the week..

Yeah, that's the way it was with the gocarts at first. For the first couple months, nobody thought about cleaning and dry burning the atty in the cartos because all they did was refill and go. Now after a couple months of use, different methods of cleaning the cartos are being developed. Even if a carto works well for extended periods of time, it's a definate plus to be able to pull the filler and dry burn any residue off the coil to refresh it. Then reinsert the original cleaned filler and use it for another two months. Seems this might be a challenge with the tapered shell of the Igo and Echo. Or am I missing the mark here entirely. Never had an Igo or Echo carto in my hands so I'm actually the student here. :)
