My Echo 1300 vapes great. Really nice with the auto battery. Very cig like. I like the way it vapes better than the GoGo because it's much quieter, very minimal hissing sound from the Echo vs the sound that you get from the Go Go.
Also I think it hits a little warmer with a little more flavor than the Go Go. Easy to fill carto. 3ml exact via syringe, no drops from bottom of carto.
So if it holds up, it's a keeper.
I'll be careful not to put it in my front pants pocket so not to damage the cartomizer as I've read can happen.

Just ordered an Echo 650 from Cropduster901.com, and once again I received a "shipped" notice within a couple of hours. This is truly a great outfit to deal with. I've had my 1300 for a week now and rate it 5 stars plus. Thought the 650 would be a little more manageable when I'm on the move and need to hold it in my mouth some. That's the one problem I've had with the 1300. It's fallen off the whistle tip a couple times when clenched in my teeth (luckely not in the toilet yet :blink:).

I think you are going to love the 650 - it's just the right size for out and about. I bought a second kit from him which arrived today! Non-stop vaping goodness.

I have a bad habit of sticking mine in my front pocket that I just can't seem to break. If I break any more cartos I'm going to get a lanyard for it.

It seems too - 18mg is what I was using in the gogo and it seems to affect me more on the echo. Now this is on the 650 although that should not make a difference. Or perhaps I am just liking it too much :)

I think I'm going to have to cut back on my mg too. I've been using it about five hours steady and I'm getting a little queasy from too much nic.

Tex, did you figure out what was wrong with that bad carto you had?

No I took it apart and couldn't see anything wrong but it would produce vapor at six volts so I guess it was just too much resistance. Cropduster sent me an extra one in my shipment and the two new ones I filled today are working great. I wouldn't of cared but I only had the two that came with the kit and I broke one. I would advise others to order a few extras when you get a new kit just in case. I wanted to test it first before I bought more but it is working great so I bought four more.

I ordered (2) 650 kits from cropduster901 plus extra cartomizers and (1) 1300 kit from dput and had excellent service from both vendors. I split the kits between myself and my brother (now we both have (2) 650's & (1) 1300). I use the 1300 when I'm at work because I work a 24 hour shift and this way I don't have to worry about charging the battery through out the day/night. I love these kits. The cartomizers are awesome and they make my juice taste amazing. I also experienced the nic rush while using these and have considered cutting back also. The cartomizers that I started with still work great but the flavor has dropped a little. I'm going to let the dry out a little to see if that helps with the flavor. I am also using the 801 drip tips and whistle tips instead of the tips they came with. IMO they are sturdier and haven't fallen off at all.

Hey, Bill, Just do what I did. Take the empty carto to the bar with you and ask the bartender to give you one of his cocktail straws. I did extensive research on this one night and found out that there are three different types of cocktail straws each with a different inside diameter. The red one worked fine for the gogo. I had one gocart that had the tip of the center tube flared slightly from inserting the q-tip for refill many times and the straw didn't fit so I pinched the top of the center tube slightly with a pair of needle nose and the straw slipped on perfectly. After re-inserting the filler it was an easy process to open the center tube again.
As a side note, upon completing my exhausting study on the cocktail straws I had to take a taxi home from my last research site. :D

After extensive research in the field I found the correct size straw and following your instructions for cleaning and dry burning the cartomizer, and reinstalling the filler, my IGO cartomizer is like new. I filled it with 112 drops of tasty vapor A/C and am vaping away!
So mohawkx, yes, the cone shaped cartomizers can be cleaned just like the GO-GO cartomizers.

ordered 2 echo kits(1300) from DPUT ( mtn vapor) for just under 100 bucks including shipping, but just got one kit in the mail. i was expecting 2 kits in the same pack...sent PM to him asking where the other kit is.
filled up 1 carto with 95 drops and got one coming through the bottom...so 3 ml as advertised. very nice vapor. i am using a 900mah riva batt with 2.0boge cartos and the echos TH and vapor it at least as good, if not better. flavor carries through very very nicely. it is a fairly long unit, without the tip, its just as long as my 900mah with a carto and a drip tip. feels very good in the hand and the auto battery is very very nice. for those of you that have tried a bloog maxx fusion, this batter is at least as responsive. i tried taking very small puffs and it reacted instantly and i got vapor. the tip that comes with my unit is soft plastic and feels just right. if the cartos are re-fillable as much as advertised, its one of the best units i ccan think of....i cant imagine needing anything else than this, its nothing short of awesome! now...i wonder what happened to the other kit? isnt it cheaper to send it as one package?

the blue light at the end is pretty bright, wonder if a guy could paint it black? easier to stealth ;-)

still no response from the supplier regarding the other kit :-(

Billb okc- Thanks for the info on cleaning the cartomizers. It looks like a girls night out is in my immediate future. I live in a summer tourist town with a gazillion bars and I'll just pretend to be goldilocks and hope I find the one that's just right. Sorry about your 2nd kit mn-puffer. My fingers are crossed that the mailman has it for you tomorrow.

That's really great news. Horizontal Coils rock in ways nobody ever figured. Try doing that to a vertical coil. Users will love the ability to completely rebuild a cartomizer.........vendors..............not so much.

Just a little tip ,tip for the echo's.If you are useing the rubber tip push it into the caro past the step. You will never lose another tip.I lost four of them before i figured that out.So far they still will not sell me just the tip , But i'm not giving up.I think i'm wearing them down,or perhaps the will sell them to me just to shut me up.When they do become available i will let you all know.

Well I finally got shipping confirmation on my echo-e models so it won't be long now. then I will be putting a couple through the ringer to make sure that they performs as i have hoped. I should have them by mid next week , keeping my fingers crossed as to expected performance.

I will certainly purchase some of the e-cartos and test run them on some riva 1100s that I have. :)

Thanks! Before I attempt this may I ask a few questions? Do you think either lifting up the filler or pushing it down further would fix my problem? Also, do you think thinning the batting out once it's removed would help, and is that even possible?

Thanks again!

I'm no authority on this, but I wouldn't recommend removing the filling unless it's a last resort. I also wouldn't recommend thinning it out. Remember how you might have compressed tobacco in a real cigarette by tapping the filter end. Try the same thing on the carto by tapping the battery connection end on something soft that will give some. That should seat the filler well near to the coil.

You might not have your juice distributed well to the carto, especially if you're using thick juice with a lot of VG. Thick juices take some time to saturate the fill material. You can speed this up some in two different ways: 1) use a syringe from the open end and gently shove it down to near the bottom and slowly push some juice into the bottom of the carto. If juice comes out the bottom, the carto is already full. If not, place your syringe in several different locations deeper in the carto and slowly keep pushing juice in until a drop comes out the bottom. 2) take the rubber end cap, fill it about half full of juice, set it on the table, and slowly push the carto (battery end down) into the rubber end cap. If the bottom of the carto is dry, it will soak up the juice. This is a big carto if I remember right, so do this several times if it keeps sucking up the juice into the bottom of the carto. If juice still hasn't come out of the bottom, drip some more slowly from the top of the carto until juice drips out the bottom...... Wipe off excess juice - roll the carto between your palms to distribute the juice - set it down and let gravity work for a few minutes - reassemble - take several short puffs to start the wicking action - now a long draw to see if your problem is corrected.

I hope this helps you.

Some people who have reported a lack of vapor and taste have pushed the filler down closer to the bottom where the coil is and solved the problem. It does appeat that some of the more recent cartos do not have the filler inserted all the way into the carto body. Once the filler made contact with the coil, the carto worked fine.

High mAh batteries and large capacity cartomizers are nice, but what is most important to me are taste and watts.

Someone in this long thread said that the taste of Echo cartos reminded him of the 801 and Leo.:hubba: That got my heart fluttering. Do others confirm?

I've read here that the Echo battery is true 3.7V, i.e., 4.2V fresh off the charger, gradually dropping down to 3.3V before demanding recharge. Correct?

But voltage is only half of the watts equation. What about the resistance (ohms) of the Echo cartomizer? I've seen no mention of that. My only disappointment with the Leo is with that watts: I often wish it hit harder ... and, since there is no adapter for the Leo atty or carto, I can't use it on a higher voltage battery.

Thanks!
