Hi all,

In my other thread I was looking for ideas and suggestions to get off these smokes and wasnt sure which ecig to go for.

KInda settled on the Riva 510 starter kit on LF and Boge 2.0 LR Cartomizers and was all ready to order and then I found a local shop was selling these:

Does anyone have any reviews on these or any advice? Being in Ireland, this saves me waiting a week for delivery as its only up the road but I dont want to end up with something that isnt as good ;/

Thanks in advance

...if the price is right and it is actually an eGo...2 things bother me though...first, they claim the batt will last 2 days...FALSE...it will give you around 6 or so hrs of vape time...they also claim a 30ml bottle of juice will last 3mos...FALSE...most people will vape at 3ml+- per day...if you get a week-10daze you will be doing pretty good...whenever I see inflated claims like this, I am VERY wary of anything else they claim...Liberty Flights is a very good, honest and reliable vendor...as always, the choices are yours to make...........

First off, that is NOT the proper size, or shape of the cone, of a Joye brand eGo, so it's almost definitely a knock-off. Also, there is ONE main difference between a Riva and an eGo. The Riva actually gives you a loaded voltage of about 3.6-3.7v. The eGo has a loaded voltage of ~3.2v. (Common misconception of 3.7v PV's = with an atomizer attached 3.7v drops to about 3.2v)

The best suggestion anyone can give you is to click on the button at the top that says "Forum Suppliers" and order from one of them. They are trusted suppliers.

That's the first thing I noticed as well, but if you look at the picture, there is no way that cone would fit on the battery...it's distorted. I think they must have taken different pictures of the parts and photoshopped them together. I'm not saying it's not a knockoff, it could very well be for that price and the overstated claims they are making

I asked if the Boge cartomizers would fit this and the reply I got was:

No cartomizers will fit with ego model, ego takes only cartridges, including cartridges of 510 models. Ego is just bigger and stronger 510, they both have same atomizer

I then asked for the specific model of EGO and the repsonse was:

Its just " ego "

Should I give this a miss?

Avoid this, most likely a knockoff, and lol @ ego's not being able to use cartomizers. Get an ego from a good vendor like liberty flights, you'll know what you're getting at least. Also take a look into the resurrector cartomizers from cystalclearvaping.com, hold more juice and hit better than boges on ego/riva batts (favorite cartomizer on that type of battery).

They are pretty similar and you can't go wrong with either. The eGo runs at about 3.4 volts, the Riva around 3.7. The Riva will give you slightly more vapor than the eGo. I hope you don't rely on some of the claims in the add. A 650 mAh battery will last most people 4-6 hours before requiring charging (unless you are a very light vaper). And 30 ml of juice will only last me a little more than a week (former pack-a-day smoker).

...just based on those answers, at the very least, they have no idea of what they are doing...that alone, not to mention the inflated claims would cause me to pass these folks right on by...what do they sell for juices........

LibertyFlights is a solid vendor with locations in the UK and the USA. Their prices are good, service is excellent, they stand behind their product (had a bad part and got a cheerful exchange, postage paid both ways on the return). I live across the country from their CA location and get 3 day service from USPS. Everything I have ordered has been $2.99 shipping.

The other "Ego" I couldn't tell you about.
