I love the idea of the lanyard, until I got one.
I am hoping its user error, but now I feel it might be defective.
While using the lanyard it seems to move slightly over the ego button causing it to not click off. It get stuck over the botton and cuases misfire. This happens with every kanger clearo, when i switch to a nove withour a sleeve it (obviously) is loose as it does not remain over the botton and moves freely, I almost prefer this. Is it possible the metal fitting it is a tad too short causing it to cover the botton? Same issues on both my twist and ego-c. Any suggestions? Anyone have similar issues?

Reviving this post. If using joyetech products then get a joyetech lanyard, they fit perfectly.

On your batts this lanyard does't fit right, you can also still use the lanyard assembly, just take off that slotted circular piece that goes over the battery button and replace the whole thing with an O-ring..... I believe a #11 size will fit fine over an ego battery.

The O-Ring will grip your egos just fine and you can still use everything else on the lanyard.

Had a friend who bought a ego twist 1100 mah battery with a kanger t3. He had it on a lanyard and said he felt something let go. He checked to see what it was and the top of the twist had separated where it was hanging by the lanyard. He exposed the circuit board that is in the top of the twist and unfortunately a couple of the wires had pulled free. So hence his batt was shot. This was the second batt he broke in 2 days. Good thing I always have 4 extra twists on hand. Don't know if its a lanyard problem or a user problem. My guess is the latter. I use a smok lanyard and they work great on the twists. I have now upgraded my vv to the new smok vv spinner, not to be confused with the vision spinner. Anyhows good luck.

I've got one lanyard with the "C" type ring as opposed to just the cut out type of ring. On most of my batteries, it works just fine, but I've got a couple of twists that have more recessed battery buttons than the others. I've noticed if I move just right, the lanyard ring will slide over the button & cause it to fire. It's worth the occasional aggravation for the peace of mind, knowing I'm not going to set it down & lose it......
