So it's been a while since anything has been said about the emdcc's, anything new going on or up and coming?
Also, I'm starting to wonder if the regular eGo batteries are "where it's at" for me, can anyone recommend a higher than 4.2v alternative?

These are my favorite carto, but the eGo is slightly underpowered for it, IMO. I bought a VV box (varicool from smoktek - great company) and it's great. You can "dial" up to 4 or 5 volts and it's wonderful. Very reasonable price also.

Hey Darth, long time no chat. I can't report much on the emdcc front. Got on Resurrectors a while ago and haven't looked back.

As for batteries, I've never heard of an eGo style batt above 4.2V. However I have heard a few people say the emdcc really comes alive around 4.5V.

Since you don't like boxes, the only thing I can suggest is take a look at the new Lavatube. It has developed a huge following for price & performance. It's become so popular that ECF gave it a new sub-forum...

I'm still using them and still think they're great all around. I'm also using them on a VV Mod, and they're wonderful at about 4.16 volts. I never tried the tanks/cartos because of the large capacity of the EMDCC. I figured why go to the trouble and expense since the EMDCC holds almost as much as many of the tank cartos. You can clean them several times with excellent results, so they last a LONG time. The only thing that appears to get them is thick/syrupy or dark juices that clog the center hole. Otherwise, there is no muss - no fuss - and high quality performance. By the way, they will take 5 + volts, but I prefer them just below 4.20.

The eMDCC is still the 'gal' I took to da 'prom'! Although I've been cheatin' with VVs and carto tanks for a while, I'll never forget the magic the eMDCC injected in to my vaping life.

Truth be told, since I've married none in my Bacchus and raucous fling with vaping, I still find some rekindling time with my ol' sweetheart...

I am new to the EMDCC trend, how do you clean them and how much liquid do you run through them before you clean?

how has long term use of the EMDCC affect the battery? seeing how the LR ones are 1.5, has anyone noticed any harm done to their battery?

im wondering because ive used 1.5 ohm cartos (mega XLs) on one of my egos and after a while the battery wouldnt work with them anymore.

but ive been using the emdccs on my other ego for a week now with no issues (other than diminished batt life). im wondering if this carto "honeymoon" will end :/

I have the ego dual coil mega carto from madvapes and have been vaping on it for 9 days now. Initial fill kinda slow without a sringe but easy. Does only hold about 4 mls but it's nothing to top off. I have no complaints about it other than if you fill to much it leaks out the bottom (hole). I am using an ego 650 mah batt. and madvapes top vapor candy apple. Of course I am no expert on vaping only been smoke free for 10 days but the flavor and vapor with the mega carto is ten times better than the standard atty. I love it. Just my opinion though. I will have if update if it craps out on me but I am pretty confident in it so far!! All this being said, the ego is all I have ever vaped from and I can't compare to anything else, sorry. Hope this helps...

It differs with how you use them and what juice you use in them. I don't stop to clean them until the taste or vapor indicates it's clogged in some way. I use a little cleaning kit that sucks hot tap water through them, let them dry, and put them back in use. If you can't see all the way through the round tube, it's usually time to toss it. I've run them for weeks without cleaning them if I use the same, light colored, mainly PG juice. You definitely get your money's worth out of EMDCCS even if you manage to completely clog and ruin one in a week. ($2.79 divided by 7).

You started off smart and right. You can spend all kinds of big bucks and not equal the performance of a $2.79 EMDCC on an Ego battery. Of course, everything is a matter of personal tastes, but I haven't heard anyone who didn't like an EMDCC setup. Folks even buy them for use on high dollar mods - why? - outstanding performance. I can compare them to many things, but the EMDCC is still one of my all-time favorites. It's an inexpensive way to have a great vaping experience.

I agree 100%. I've only ever cleaned one when I want to switch flavors. Granted, I've only been vaping around 3 months, but they've yet to 'drop off' or tighten up the way some cartos do. I just love em.

added: I should add I normally don't care for lr dcc's. Too HOT! Love these though :)
