If you are looking for higher wattage, they make a 0.5 stainless steel coil, you might want to try one, it should withstand your wattage needs better. It also is TC capable to my understanding, which might help your coil life, actually.
What VG/PG ratio are you using? Your VG might be too high, causing the wick to gunk/clog.
You really have to find a way to either get a different coil, or turn down the wattage. It is just too high for that coil.

And this is the blunt honesty I need in my life. Being new to vaping I need someone to just point blank tell me the way you just did. I've also learned I need to gain a better understanding of Ω because I thought higher meant higher wattage.

I am using a 70vg/30pg
I have turned it down to 25.5w now and actually went to 2.0s without it burning.
My wife vapes on 13.8w and is currently refusing to vape with the ego tank after several attempts and a burned taste. This was on pack juice, skittles 0mg nic and 50/50 (same coil).
