I'd like to order a Joye eGo-T mod and the very best 18650 battery for it.
Considerations: Power, Safety, and fit.

These are the ones I'm considering....

Super-TEfest3100Protected17.97 18.41 x 69.85 mm
MyVaporStoreAW3100Protected10.57
IndyVaporAW3100Protected19.9518.52 x 68.16 mm
IndyVaporUltrafire3000Protected8.9518 x 68 mm
RTD Vaporxtar3100Protected14.9918.4 x 68.5 mm
OrbTronic
Panasonic2250IMR8.9518.6 x 65.2 mm Flattop
OrbtronicPanasonic2250IMR9.7118 x 66.9 mm Buttontop
SmokTekPanasonic2250IMR (hybrid)11.9918 x 67 mm Buttontop

The smoktek descriptions says "For use with high current this battery can deliver more capacity at a higher voltage than 3100 mAh cells." ??

Love to see what battery you use with a link :)

I can attest the Ultrafire 3000 will fit. It's super tight...but it will fit. The 2250 Pnansonics should fit. Haven't tried 'em personally, but pretty sure I've seen comments here and the from people who say they use them.

I was looking at the Ultrafire IndyVaporShop... the only options are "with charger" and "only charger, no battery" heh

This The Mountain Vaporizer is prolly more like what I should get.
It's designed to run with the 3000mAh Trustfires.

I've ignored this model many times because the description does not state that it's eGo threaded.
Also would like to know if you can charge directly or do you have to remove the battery?

I like that the button is inset, high power batteries are sold on the site, great price.

After reading thread and thread, I might just go for it.

No idea on the Indulgence or Mountain. I can say that the eGo-T Upgrade Mod can be charged from the standard eGo usb chargers, or using an external charger that takes 18650's. the eGo-T Mod also uses the flat head 65mm battery. The myfreedomsmokes site has the best price I've seen for the 3 pieces all together! ( and their shipping rates are low also!)

I was wondering the same thing. Looked at the Panasonics...the one you mention state that they are "hybrids" as well and have Li-ion written right on them. I am confused. I too want the safest battery I can get and performance would be secondary to a point. I have spent all day reading about batteries on here and I am more confused now than when I started.

FULLY MECHANICAL mods cannot be charged from the atty connector because the atty connector is only connected to the battery when you press the fire button. I also don't much care for the idea of charging a battery that large in the device. Finally, if this is going to be your primary PV, you will want to vape one battery while you charge another.

I watched videos about the devices I've mentioned here, and most of them have loud buttons.

I tried the Mountain Vapor but the button was too loud, like an old Bic pen. Do they still make those? Otherwise the Mountain Vaporizor is attractive, seems well built, and should handle any 18650 battery. As with most of these mods, it is 510 compatible, requiring an extension to connect eGo atomizers. I have found some extensions for sale but have not looked for the info on how long it needs to be. It would nice to have just the right length to seat the eGo down on the top of the mod without a gap.

I ordered the Silver Bullett, for quiet button and battery flexibility.
It was $85, but it is the only model that meets my specifications. (the Bolt is cheaper, but I liked the recessed battery on SB)

I'll be using Trustfire Protected 18650 3000mAH batteries from Mountain Vapor

First day with the Silver Bullet, it's great.
The button is stiff, but just a little turns it on, I have no problem with this.
It has no holes... some units have holes to release battery gas.
They only have plain colors and smooth surface. I saw some videos with fancy bumps and swirls and such, maybe they don't do that anymore.
