Im all for "Cone Style" Remember....If you use a atty that the cone dont fit that still dont mean the PV wasnt designed to use the cone.Most people dont use the cone atty made to use with the Hello 16 but that dont mean the Hello wasnt made to use the built in cone atty... It was. The cone is a distinct trait of all the "Ego style" PV's and when you buy a kit most of them come with some kind of cone whether it be built onto the atty or it screws down over the atty. There made to use the cone thus "Cone Style" I think is the best category name. .

Ok..."eGo Type Models" needs a NAME...

I'm sorry: which category would that be? "...." needs a NAME.

Missed that.......Ohhhhh! Of course... no name, right! My bad.

haaaaa.

Just kidding, but, then again, we have already coined many entrys which are being adopted and are effective to the referential agenda. Nevertheless, I guess going for the 'ultimate wording choice' is harmless and could be a smart move. Just guessing if we dont hurry the 'winner' might end up picking dust in the Official Records shelves... Meaning, I am with you Don, but I think in this case language might be taking the 'descriptive' natural path rather than 'precriptive' one.

I am really fond of some of your choices, and I also have some entires of my own which I'd like to share. In most cases there are some reasons for my selection including technical references and/or shape factor; object-similarities; etc. Sometimes they are acronyms, but in a few cases its 'just because'; cause it sounds catchy. I wont include the meanings but if you gimme feedback maybe I could fill you in on them from there.

Ok: All of them are affixed as preffixes to the word 'model':

drama (my personal favourite);

Hybrid;

"Roundy/ie";

Roll(ie);

Log(e);

supra-batt;

para-batt;

sticko;

phat ...;

And last but not least: "Day-tripper".

PS: Sorry if some have been already suggested!

'drammAh' or 'drammah' could be alternative to my first entry. It stands for device Running A/t Mayor/More mAh or something similar; we could adjust........ but check my latest 'creation'. This is my brain child, heeee:

KarmAh. Kone (yes, I know...!) Artiffact Reading More mAh.

And also:

This WILL ROCK! trust me:

"Fame" ......... Fat ... More Energy, hee!

OK, I'll put together a poll. In preparation for which, what do you think of these choices? Clarification: I am not asking for your vote, but for how we should lay out the poll choices. And please do remember that we are talking about the name of the category, which includes eGO/Tornado (and all its enhancements), Riva, Hello 016, Inferno, Elegant, Defender, Riva-901, etc.

  • leave it as eGO-type or eGO-like
  • Fat Batts or Fatty Battys, Fatties
  • Cone-style or Coneheads
  • JumbAhs or Hi-mAhs
  • Mega Batts or Big Batts
  • Robustos
  • ELB (extended battery life)
These are not all of the many ideas expressed in this thread, but the ones that at least two people here liked.
