eGo-V True VV Pass Through eGo 3.0-6.0v PROBLEM

I just got my eGo-V True VV Pass Through eGo 3.0-6.0v with LED display from gotvapes and it seems to take a charge but will not provide power to neither my c8 clearomizers NOR the brand new GotVapes SplitFire 3ml tank 2.4 ohm.

I tested the tank on my ego mini battery and it works fine. They told me to send it back but i want to make sure im not missing something. I have cycled it on and off (click 5 times) many times and it makes no difference.

The wierd thing is that my ego mini battery seems to weight just as much if not more than this much larger battery....i thought that was really odd....

Anyways just wanted to get some peoples thoughts on this before i spend money on shipping it back

I recently got my v and as my first vv mod, it's fantastic. I haven't had any problems with it. Does yours still light up like its working and turn off/ on? Update: i tried pulling up the lead a little bit and it works now! Thanks to GV's advice as well as here

I recently just got my eGo-V VV passthrough as well. Vapes like a MONSTER but I too was puzzled that my smaller eGo batteries weighed more. Anybody know the reasoning behind this?

Probably uses a thinner/lighter metal body. Perhaps a weight difference in battery as well.

I just ordered one myself, can't wait to get it! I look forward to hearing everyone's opinions on this device.

I was going to pick up a passthrough and a separate battery, but I am hoping to kill two birds with one stone on this ego.

Edit: Just set mine up, new juice (mt baker 50/50 carmel apple), new splitfire parts, vaping at 4.0v and absolutely loving it. This thing is fantastic. Luckily the little metal piece isn't giving me any problems.
