OK, I need to know the REAL DEAL breakdown of why different ppl prefer one or the other.

Someone said something the other day in another thread that I hadn't considered... they said (in reference to someone asking if "X" battery is better than "Y" battery) everything at the same voltage/wattage produces the same vape, assuming everything else is the same (like a clearo).

So I started wondering ... WHY do ppl even GET into juiceboxes/telescopic PVs, what exactly are the benefits if everything that vapes the same, technically?

Now, I'm gonna state the OBVIOUS here, and thats of course the long battery life. Is that all? What if battery life isnt important to you? And juiceboxes hold more liquid, so is that all?

I'm looking to buy another PV, but honestly cant see any reason to get anything better than an EGO-V since battery life and gallons (lol) of juice arent important to me. I *wanted* something that gave better TH and vapor.

I consider it personal preference as to which battery/mod a person decides upon. I have several different types of batteries/mods and my decisions were for different reasons but primarily it was for battery life. I don't want a battery that can't hold-up no matter what functions it has, it must have longevity. Of course this can't be all. Next comes power for throat hit and flavor. These are a must have. What good is a battery that can't deliver a throat hit, flavor, or last very long? Oh I can go on but I'll just leave it at this....as I stated earlier, it's personal preference. As long as you are happy with what you have and it works for you then by all means purchase what you like. Happy Vaping!

Your delivery system and juice content are what give you thought hit. Higher nic and pg. The mod only gives you a better source of power depending on the quality of materials and or electronics. The advantage of a replaceable battery mod over a ego is your ego is disposable. But lots of the cheaper mods are disposable also because they dont hold up well.

I like the idea of replaceable batteries. Most of the ecigs with built in batteries self destruct after a predetermined time. With most mods you just buy a new battery at a much cheaper replacement cost and keep on vaping. With the mods you usually have variable wattage and can for the most part set it and forget it with most of the toppers you use. Anything with vv/vw can be set by the user to their own preference whether low or high. The cost savings are just better in the long run. There is also the hobby aspect, I like to have a different mod in a different color and style. For the most part they are tubes or boxes and all do pretty much the same thing -some just seem to do it better.

Simplest explanation that I can think of:

Why would I expect the form factor that is easiest to use in my left hand be as easy to use in my surgically altered right hand?

I think that's why most, opt to have several, very different, delivery systems for different applications.

    For instance

An ego V battery is a very good device because of it's low cost, reliability, adjustable voltage, passthrough and so on. That was my go to device for quite a wile. I still use them from time to time.

A mechanical device is a good option also because you can "taylor" your vaping experience (heat, throat hit, vapor production) without hitting the devices fail safes (because it has none). But they also take a bit more care in using for a "all day" device than an ego does.

I personally carry a "box mod" called iTaste vtr for my all day device. The replaceable battery inside has more "umph" than an ego battery, last longer than an ego, the mod can be adjusted to suit my voltage needs, and I can put my choice of tank, cart, RDA, onboard an go for an all day out or even use it at work all day without being worried about running out of juice or battery life.

The down side is, the variable voltage cannot accept low ohm coils that I like when I'm at home, looking for that massive throat hit and vapor production.

Point being, everything being equal....is not really equal. Nothing vapes the same IMHO even with the same battery size, ohms, or whatever.

There is really 4 parts to vaping 1 the battery, 2 circuit, 3 juice delivery system, 4 juice. No matter how good 1,2,& 3 are if your juice sucks so will the vape. If #3 is bad 1,2, and 4 can help. If #2 is bad 1, 3, 4 may help. If #1 is bad 2, 3, 4 may help. But to get that great vape all 4 must be great. As to why people like different sizes, shapes etc that's individual preference.

well i have a telescopic mech becuase i like using different batteries but cant stand the look of several small rings screwed together.
i have a full size vw/vv with a single tube because i dont use anything but big batteries in them.
I also have a solid tube mech to only use an 18650 battery for the same uniform look stated before.

So I started wondering ... WHY do ppl even GET into juiceboxes/telescopic PVs, what exactly are the benefits if everything that vapes the same, technically?

And here lied the real issue, technically and real world results dont always match up.
almost all devices work fine and do what they are designed to do. for many it makes no difference how accurate or powerful they are or the way the chip actually produces vapor.
for some it bothers us that something isnt working at the setting you choose like it is supposed to or the fact this chip seems smoother then that chip and search out other devices.

it is all about preference and choice. there are several cheap things that work fine but dont interest me, for that matter i am sure many people on here would think the 200 dollar mod i use with +/- .01 accuracy and a pure flat dc signal is overkill.

so, I hate cheerios why do people eat cheerios? maybe that guy hates my raisin bran just as much as i hate cheerios lol they both fill you up. in vaping choice is good, the more choices the better the devices get as they all compete.

The MVP II with a BTF squonker is the best mod period, no discussion, everyone else is wrong if they disagree.

I have one waiting at home for me and my Dad has described it to me in great detail... im pretty sure that and 6 months of vaping makes me an expert. I have been a member of this forum for a whole 2 weeks now... Im kinda a big deal!

LOL... I love how everyone has a special mod, tip, tank, flavor, battery they think is best... it makes these forums so interesting and fun to read... has also took a chunk out of my back pocket... I drink the kool aid and buy the next best thing even before the last best thing gets delivered... or even ships... LOL!
