Thanks! :)

Partly that and partly because I didn't have time to use all the options thoroughly before giving it up so I wanted to make sure to touch on the programmability.
Understood.

The statement "The temperature control was a little cumbersome to set up with the SS coil because only the TCR for Nickel is set up by default" does seem a tad misleading when there is in fact a pre-programmed SS 316 mode already in the mod's menu.

I'm not trying to be overly critical but rather point out a sentence you might want to edit.

Fixed! Thanks for that, it wasn't really clear what I meant.

Well written, entertaining review. There are pre-programmed Ti and Stainless Steel 316 modes hidden behind the pre-programmed Ni mode on the menu apart from the TCR menu though that you did not mention. I'm assuming this is because you prefer the flexibility of the TCR Menu over the Pre-programmed modes?
I loved the part about also having the copyright symbol on her keyboard. I also have that but I'll be dipped if I can figure out what combination of keystrokes brings it up, lol!

The alt symbol combinations are so hard to remember!
I never even knew it! I was a medical transcriptionist for 10 years and sometimes my fingers would go faster than my brain and I would end up with some obscure ascii symbol in the middle of a medical report, lol!

Hehe, the worst is when you change the keyboard to French (though that might be more of a Canadian problem).
Transcriber eh? You can read doctor's writing! Bet it was mostly boring with the odd really cool case?

LOL! My kid used my computer for school one quarter and he downloaded Chinese from Microsoft and my keyboard kept bouncing back and forth between American and Chinese. It was very interesting!! :)

Oh no, I definitely can't read doctors' handwriting! I did, however, get to interpret through yawns, meals, general mumbling and tons of background noise. I worked for my local hospital so we got some pretty interesting stuff but there were definitely times where work was zzzzzzz. :D I miss it, though. They outsourced our department a year ago, which is why I went back to school. Time for a change! The electronic medical record really is a beautiful thing, but it was sad to be replaced by a program, lol.

Knowing how bad some text to speech and speech to text programs are, I couldn't imagine one able to interpret someone dictating notes.
Yay school though, that's always fun :D

I love school, but I am soooo glad it's over right now. 10 months with just a 1-week break at the end of the year got pretty intense, I tell ya! :)

Thanks for that review, I'm a lazy person that prefers video reviews, but this one actually kept me interested because it was easy, and not formal. The picture of the cat in the middle of the gallery made me smile haha. My only question remains... what the hell is a SO? Son-something? Sister-something? Sibling-something? xD

I'm so pumped up for this eGrip! I already sold my Presa 75/Cubis (I hate to "collect" these things), but I still haven't got my eGrip. :( It already arrived in my PO Box in USA, but I need to forward it down to Mexico.

The review is awesome, and more importantly, Tpat's happy with it... that's a shocker, a very positive one! (I'm sorry Tpat, I don't even know you but I've read most of your likes/dislikes/complaints since the VT thread, so it gets me very excited that you're liking it so far).

I regularly use 25-35W, and hope to stay that way, hopefully I won't even notice the Battery life being shorter.
Actually, there's a review I saw where the dude said someone tested the battery and said it could possibly be a 2500mah one, not a 2100.

I hope you get it soon, Betomex! I love reading the real-world reviews. :) Oh and SO=Significant Other.

I was down to Superior Officer or Significant Other Which are essentially the same anyway:).

Shocker, yes, pleasantly surprised at the TFTAs solid Performance over previous versions under TC. I'd be concerned in non TC as airflow is not going through the coil itself but over the top of it. Very moist dense vapor, slightly muted flavor but not bad at all. I call them as I see them and tend to be very critical of design and for me to give it a thumbs up as a pretty good starter unit that should satisfy a wide range of vapers says a lot. Hope you enjoy it!

That's crazy intense, you're due for long break!

Thanks for the kind words! Like cool said, SO means significant other.
I scoured the box for mention of batter size myself and turned up nada. That'd be cool if it were 2500.

Interesting tank design.

Looks like same type of TFTA system as Egrip just upsized and cross bred with a Nebox. Base looks like a huge waste of potential juice capacity and intake chimney much larger than necessary wasting tank capacity.

Edit: Started a thread for it here Summa by Artery

Hey guys. Just got back from vacation where I ruined my phone the second day there (dropped it into the pool) along with my Coolfire 4, so now that I'm back and finally have access to the internet again, I've been able to catch up a bit. I definitely need a new mod now since I lost one... I mean, it's sitting in a bag of rice right now but I don't have much hope for it. It's also covered in nail polish... yea.. that was a rough night lol. I got most of the polish off with some acetone but I wanted to get a new device anyways. I'm still wavering on the edge about the Egrip 2. I'm not really sure whats holding me back. I guess I want to know for sure if it's vapable at a more closed airflow setting without getting weird or harsh hits, and how well it functions in the atomizer adapter setup. I'm going to comb through the thread more tomorrow. I am severely jet lagged and had a nightmarish 30 hour day of plane rides back with a crying baby on each one so I feel like I'm about to hallucinate now out of exhaustion. If I don't get the Egrip, I will likely just pick up a stealthy small mod.

Nail polish and water? It's almost like you wanted to destroy things! ;)
Seriously though that's brutal.

I did link my review here (with pictures!) as @Tpat591 touched on. I haven't had a dry or harsh hot on the eGrip II yet and I even vaped it past where I couldn't see any liquid. It's not as tight as my ego one but still very MTL worthy.
The adapter works really well for other tanks too, just be careful not to overtighten external tanks. I did once to see how hard it would be to get apart and it's not easy to grip the adapter as it's smooth. Other than that it feels solid with any tank on it, no wobble and things fit flush.

Hope jet lag treats you well! Let me know if you have more questions :)
