No offense, but wow, the editing on these "reviews" leaves a lot to be desired, a green screen, yep, it's green. Again, the editing, cuts his words off, partial sentences, it seems a tad disingenuous too coming from a vendor. but with 22 other "reviews" I'd think he'd get those niggles worked out. Thanks for the share though :)

Yup, sort of amateurish, I know all of them are amateur, but I'm waiting for its review from IndoorSmokers, VaporTrailChannel, TiaVapes or MikeVapes. I like those guys.

So far, IndoorSmokers and VaporTrailChannel have shown it, but just in a "show and tell" way, not thoroughly.

Thanks for that though.
Indoor Smokers & Tia Vapes are too busy burning a doobie in the parking lot to pound out a review. Mike Vapes already did his (posted in thread). VaporTrail is pretty likeable, but hardly thorough IMHO. DJ LSB Vapes will give the most comprehensive review when he does the full review. (DJ Lsb full Ought to be out pretty quick)

Just trying to share them as I find them. Skipped posting the Grim Greens ranting Vlog about it because it was mostly him reading instructions and complaining he was stuck in Flappy Bird.

Weirdest thing. I had vaped most of one tank yesterday and pretty much ran down the battery as well so I charged it overnight. Had an early appointment so I took it off charge, gave it a quick fill & shot out the door. After the meeting I fired it up and it asked if it was a new coil at 0.27ohm or old 0.25ohm and I chose old. Suddenly the temp it was turned down to (325f) was totally anemic and deliver almost no vapor. Turned up the temp & it vaped like I would have expected it to on any other piece of equipment instead of being scalding hot. Even though it was reading the correct resistance of 0.25 ohm the evening before it was vaping like it had logged a poor resistance of like 0.3ohm or above which is why it was so hot. Strange it wouldn't correct the other night because I must have pulled the coil 6 or 7 times for various reasons over my initial testing with no change in behavior.

Today after refilling it was much, much more stable, predictable and working much more like I would expect a properly calibrated TC mod to behave. I would often get an anemic vape with Evic VTC after a sleep overnight and fix it with a battery pull but that was the opposite of the behavior I noted with EgripII. I am now vaping the same coil at 40w, 460f and receiving exactly the temp performance I would expect to receive on any other mod. I have no idea what caused this mis-calibration/Strange Behavior the other evening but it must have been a poor or intermittent connection on the coil pickup leads that somehow corrected itself upon refilling and cranking the coil back in while in a rush this morning. I'm guessing the overnight charging caused it it enter a deep sleep shutdown and reinitialize this morning sort of like a hard boot battery pull on the Evic VTC. I now realize that had I pressed the reset button at the base of the mod the other night to simulate a battery pull I may have corrected this miscalibration the other night. Please keep that in mind if you experience a similar issue.

Not receiving any spitback using the Aromamizer drip tip and I'm much happier with the feel & performance of the unit today. Last night I was considering PIFFing both units to friends and sticking with Nebox, but today, I may just loan one to a friend to try and play with the other a bit longer. If my buddy gets over the learning curve, I may never see the unit again, but he still hasn't figured out how to wick the RBA on V1 or keep an Evic Mega tank from leaking (I fix it, he takes it apart again and loses a washer or o-ring) so I figure it is safe to say I will eventually get it back. (He has been resisting the transition from the stinkies for some time and unconsciously sabotages his own self professed efforts to quit. Maybe this "simpler" TC version will help him be successful, but I doubt it.)

Egrip II has been a solid performer and I like it now that it is stable and I'm using the antispitback tip from Aromamizer. Battery and capacity are an issue but it is what it is.

Set my buddy up yesterday with the second unit w/ the mtl coil to try as he is still on analogs despite considerable resistance. Just got a call from him to say thank you for forcing it on him, he used it all day & night yesterday and really likes it and wants to buy it from me. I have loaned him 4 different mods over the last 6 months he has to this day and never has he offered to pay for one of them. Very Surprised.

Now I might have to buy another one to get through the day.

That's awesome! It's so great when someone finds the right setup to get them off the stinkies. I really hope he stick with it. :) Bummer about losing a mod, but it definitely went to a great cause! :)

The bummer is he knew what I paid for it because I gave him a chance to jump on my order for free shipping when I placed it and he wanted NOTHING to do with it. Now he gives me $40 for it which is what I paid, but for me to replace it now would cost me $50 by the time its shipped unless I sit and wait for a sale & who knows if I will ever see that price again.

I've given him an Ego, a VTR, a R80 Sidewinder, a Mini 17mm Nemesis w/ a Kafun Baby 17mm, a V1 Egrip w/ coils & RBA base, a V2 OLED CL Egrip, & an Evic VTC kit w. Mega tank, bunch of old protanks, m2s, c5s and he always takes them apart, loses or screws up the orings so he can't use them. I think subconsciously he always wants to break them to find a reason to go back to analogs. Whenever I go there I literally have to sit down and fix three or 4 mods and tanks to get them working and take away his excuses.

He refuses to try different flavors and sticks to Johnson Creek Tennessee Cured and Gold Reserve + two of the first 5 flavors I gave him, which is ok I guess if it works, but I found it easier to quit for good when I transitioned to cinnamon bun/dessert/fruit flavors to get myself away from craving tobacco by constantly tasting a comparably unsatisfying version of it. That is probably just me though.

Hope it does take this time. I've never seen him so excited about it before. Hopefully it will take this time.

Geez, he's really lucky to have such a great friend! I don't think I probably would have stopped giving him stuff after the first couple of times, lol. :D I feel the same way about getting away from the tobacco flavors to completely quit. The tobacco flavors are just not the same as what you get from a stinkie, and the flavors are so great why would you even want to stay with that? To each his own, though. If it works this time that would be awesome. I am still trying to get my husband off cigarettes. He REALLY needs to quit before he develops fatal complications. At least when I give him gear and he gives up on vaping I get my gear back, though. Your friend got an amazing deal on a really great device, and since he actually paid for it this time (kinda) maybe he will treat it better. Fingers crossed! :)

Time will tell. I got more equipment now than I know what to do with but Grips and Nebox get a lot more use this time of year than anything else.
I was all set on getting the Egrip II but now I can't decide between it or the Evic VTwo! I do want a bottom-fed mod, though. Decisions, decisions.... :D

An evic is a nice mod i guess but never liked that adjustment lever and If I went that route I'd take the VTwo Mini. Only difference in that over an earlier VTC is probably a battery backup to keep clock going during a battery pull.

I thought I would hate Egrip II, now that I found the right DT I'd recommend. If you get 6-10 hrs depending (on coil resistance) w/o recharging on it your doing good though.

Well written, entertaining review. There are pre-programmed Ti and Stainless Steel 316 modes hidden behind the pre-programmed Ni mode on the menu apart from the TCR menu though that you did not mention. I'm assuming this is because you prefer the flexibility of the TCR Menu over the Pre-programmed modes?

Thanks! :)

Partly that and partly because I didn't have time to use all the options thoroughly before giving it up so I wanted to make sure to touch on the programmability.
