Start using multiple flavors, pga, multiple strength pg/vg base, want a certain pg/vg percentage with multiple nic and no nic sources, etc etc. I'd also not want to sit there and drip out 100ml of a batch. I'll take some simple math and a few measuring devices vs trying to count out hundreds of possibly similar drips and hope my 30mg mix doesn't end up being a 55 mg mix.

I have LorAnn eye-droppers which do 40 drops per milliliter.
I have other eye-droppers - big ones - that do 17 drops per milliliter.

Assuming that all drops are the same size is not a good idea. You won't get very good results when converting small batch "dropped" recipes into large batch "measured" recipes.

LOL I just mixed up a 1000ml batch of tobacco and I think I have this down to almost a science. I always start out with a small batch 10ml and the convert it to 1000ml and it converts over very nicley. Havent had a problem yet. But I always use the same dropper for measuring drops on the small batches and then use ml in the big batches. Works for me :)

Yep, using the same dropper is the way to go. But I have dropper bottles for some ingredients, little eye droppers and big eye droppers... It's maddening to convert a 2ml test batch into a 30ml recipe. I really need to standardize, but that's actually a bigger pain for me.

I buy the 10ml dropper bottles and fill them from my 4oz bottle, so the drops are the same. I dont by drams any more from lorann and fill the 10ml bottles from cappellas for my samples so everything is the same.
Thats how I do it any way :)

I love the spreadsheet and I use it all the time! It really is a fantastic set up. Thank you so much Scubabatdan!!!

I would like to have a cell for Recipe Notes so that I can remind myself of details about a particular recipe. For example, some flavoring combinations are really strong and only need 2% and on the other extreme some are weaker and require 20%. Occasionally they need a touch of vodka. Right now I opened a cell to the right of the details on the recipe page and write notes there, but being basically a lazy person, I would adore it if the save recipe macro took care of it for me and brought the details back to the calculator page when I pull it back up.

I don't have a clue about writing macros and being lazy (yep!) I would rather not have to learn from the ground up. Scubabatdan.... would you consider adding such a feature when and if you find the time? Pretty, pretty please?

Thanks for considering it! :)

I love that idea, ive got real long names on some items due to my notes (my morning vape recipie is +8mg nic, sleepy time is -8mg nic for example). Never thought to have a notes field, good one!

Ok the new v8 ejuice calculator now has the note section in the recipe builder and the notes will be copied to the recipe sheet when the copy button is clicked. Also all notes will be displayed when a recipe is selected from the list.
Great ideas guys! As always the download link is in my sig!
Hey that only took me 30 minutes :)

I just wanted to say thank you very much Dan! I am brand new to all this, have not even received my e-cig yet but went out to Walmart and bought 6 different flavors and have flavors coming my way with nic juice too. I really appreciate you sharing this cause it really helps simplify it. Thank you!!!

Freak'n Awesome. I love the additional tabs that help with ratios and price comparison. The Flavor list for Drop Downs is awesome, iw ould have never known about the artificial color and Oil based products if it wasn't for that. The recipe sheet is another great attribute. So props go out to all those who contributed to that section as it would have been difficult if Dan had to do that himself.:D

If I understand the spreadsheet right, in order for me to make say 30ml of 36mg butterscotch from 40mg flavorless juice I would have to mix 27ml of nic juice with 3ml (10% flavor) of butterscotch. But if the flavor was not strong enough I am unable to increase flavor percentage without decreasing nic level. I would have to sacrifice nic level for flavoring or get a higher level of nic juice. Is this correct?

Thanks!!!!
